I eat mayo on any sandwich. If it has bread it needs mayo. Hot dogs as well. Also eat it in beans and rice. Any beans, or peas for that matter. Mayo is awesome. I like to mix it in my chili too. My family is a mayonnaise family. And non of that miracle whip junk. Real Blue Plate mayo SON!!

I don't usually do this, but it's tomato and potato, Chase. No 'e'. That's Dan Quayle territory right there.Comment

Re: I HATE MAYONNAISE!
I wonder how many OS'ers that dislike mayo,
keep seeing this thread & have been subconsciously/subliminally motivated
to give mayo another try. lolComment

You have to try it. If you like peanut butter sandwiches and you like chili, I guarantee you'll like it. The flavors just blend well together.
By the way, if you are a chili fan, I just made Guy Fieri's Dragonbreath chili recipe this weekend, and it was awesome. It's not as hot as the name sounds. It is pretty expensive to make a pot though, as it calls for 4 lbs of meat, but it is delicious. Although, I am paying for it in the bathroom this week... Lol.

Re: I HATE MAYONNAISE!
peanut butter and chili is weird, but it definitely works. First time I had ever seen it was in a school cafeteria with their mediocre spaghetti filled chili, and it was good then and even better with better chili.
Edit: Oh, and I can't believe some of you are dissing a fresh tomato, that's something that belongs in the pleasures of life thread, a tomato fresh from the vine still warm from the sun.Comment

Re: I HATE MAYONNAISE!
I still say you're crazy on the PB&C, but on the 4 lbs of meat, just look for sales. Store near me usually has decent ground beef on sale for $2.50/lb once a month or so. If you mix and match you may be able to do it for $10-$13 maybe. But you probably get like 20+ servings out of it vs. a single can of chili costing you $1.50-$2.You have to try it. If you like peanut butter sandwiches and you like chili, I guarantee you'll like it. The flavors just blend well together.

Back home visiting family, and I successfully blocked mayo from going into the cole slaw dressing tonight. Victory.Comment

You'd think that mayo was the equivalent of 2 girls and one cup in here.Comment
