Re: News that make you say WTF?
Wendy's employee Amy Seiber was arrested and soon became an ex-employee on Nov. 1, when a customer at the chain's Lovejoy, Ga. location called 911 on Nov. 1 and reported there was a half-smoked blunt inside her burger, TMZ reported Thursday.
Police say when they showed up, Seiber, 32, told them the blunt belonged to her, and that she "misplaced" it inside the cheeseburger. She was arrested for possession of marijuana.
The customer told TMZ she suffered from symptoms similar to food poisoning and had to be hospitalized. She also said that Wendy's offered to pay for her medical bills, and also gave her a $50 gift certificateComment

Re: News that make you say WTF?
A 16-year-old avoided spending time in prison for killing four people in a car accident in June after the judge bought his lawyers' argument that he was the victim of wealth. CBSDFW reports that Ethan Couch was sentenced in a Fort Worth, Tex. juvenile court to 10 years probation for the drunk driving crash that ended the lives of youth pastor, Brian Jennings; Hollie and Shelby Boyles; and Breanna Mitchell.
Prosecutors asked that Couch serve 20 years in prison. His blood alcohol level was .24, three times the legal limit for an adult. Psychologist G. Dick Miller testified for the defense that Couch suffered from "affluenza," a condition in which "his family felt that wealth bought privilege and there was no rational link between behavior and consequences," KHOU reported.
Miller said Couch's parents never punished him for his behavior, even when, in a separate incident, cops found him passed out in a car with a naked 14-year-old girl. As part of his sentence, Couch will be sent to a private counseling center that costs $450,000, which will be paid for by his father.Comment

Re: News that make you say WTF?
Dude said he was seeing angels. What part of that made you pretend to know sign language? Everytime I see his improve dance moves at the Mandela tribute I just die laughing.
That isnt even the first time he pulled this **** either.
And **** that kid who killed those 4 people and will get off with a 500k vacation at a "treatment center" how will he ever survive all those pool sessions and yoga treatments?
Affluenza. Can you imagine his parents paid top dollar to a lawyer to defend their son; by completely slandering their parenting skills ending in him getting off. There's a joke somewhere in there.Last edited by kingkilla56; 12-12-2013, 08:44 PM.Comment

Re: News that make you say WTF?
just ask him to sign during the interview, simple way to find out the truth
For the rich kid, how do you teach someone about consequences when they supposedly haven't had any? You give them consequences and 20 years sounds good. He can get all the therapy he needs behind bars. They are basically saying he is mentally ill and cannot tell right from wrong.
Since they admitted in court that the parents are terrible, I hope the families sue them for everything they have in civil court. They raised an idiot, they admitted it, they should be held responsible if they are taking the blame for raising him that way.Comment

Re: News that make you say WTF?
DULUTH, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -
A Duluth High School senior has been suspended for one year and won't graduate on time for hugging a teacher last month.
Sam McNair, 17, was suspended last week when a school hearing officer found he violated the Gwinnett County Public Schools' rules on sexual harassment.
"Something so innocent can be perceived as something totally opposite," said McNair.
A video of the hug, captured by a surveillance camera, shows McNair enter a room, place his arms around the back and front of the teacher and tuck his head behind her neck.
According to a discipline report, the teacher alleged McNair's cheeks and lips touched the back of her neck and cheek.
McNair denied he kissed his teacher or sexually harassed her.
McNair said he regularly hugs his teachers and has never been disciplined for it in the past.
According to the discipline report, the teacher alleged she warned McNair that hugs were inappropriate but he disputes that.
April McNair, Sam's mother, said she was dumbfounded when she was informed of the suspension and believes the district had a responsibility to notify her if her son's hugging was becoming problematic before it suspended him and derailed his college plans.Comment
