Why drink something you think tastes horrible, anyways ?

I enjoy the taste of a good beer and even the occasional Miller Lite.

I just haven't been drinking it because the bad carbs in it.

Never really enjoyed beer other than a couple different brands like Hoegaarden. I like my coke n rum, though.

I couldn't stand beer until a little after I turned 21...before that I'd just drink it to get drunk, but now I actually appreciate a good tasting beer.

Rum & coke does nothing for me. First had it when I was 9 or 10 at my aunt's BBQ. It was all inside this giant pitcher with 3 other pitchers all on the table. To me it looked like Coke, so I poured it into my glass. Drunk 3 glasses of it and it did nothing to me. I was about pour my 4th when my aunt said wait wait wait that is for the women to drink, it isn't for kids. I said but I been drinking it all day LOL. Then she said it had rum in it. I thought umm ok.

My dad and uncles laughed at me and said boy you drinking that woman drink, you going to turn into a bitch, want me to take you dress shopping when we leave ? Yeah, my bloodline is harsh. Only the females in my bloodline drunk rum & coke and wine coolers.

I agree, people act like blondes are so amazing but I like brunettes just as much

I also don't like hot coffee. I love Ice Caps from Tim Hortons though. I just don't drink them that often because they are so unhealthy and I don't like having a lot of Caffeine. It makes me have trouble sleeping and I think people become too reliant on caffeine. It annoys me when people say things like "I can't do anything before I drink my coffee"

I'm not big on rum, but never heard of it being a woman's drink....

There are quite a few "manly men" I've known who love rum and coke...Interesting to learn.

I didn't know Rum and Coke was a chick drink either.

I've drank my fair share of Captain and Coke because $25.00 half gallons are fairly inexpensive for a pretty good rum and I enjoy the taste.

As long as it's not frozen or called Sex on The Beach or Smirnoff, I'll drink it.

I even order Strawberry Margaritas. I just don't give a ****. I'm not always in the mood to be drinking Maker's Mark on the rocks.

lol yeah I've never cared if my drinks are considered girly or not, I openly admit to liking sparkling water with vodka. My beer isn't considered manly either because it's not expensive

Generational differences........You people comparing the mindset and way of thinking of people who grew up in the 1940s, 1950s and 1960s to modern times. I heard so much stuff from my uncles about their way of thinking and how they viewed people and viewed the world, it would make your head explode. I use to always say to myself wow people actually thought and believed that ? But alas that is simply how it was back then. My uncles and aunts were born in the 1930s and 1940s on my dad's side.

I'll have a beer occasionally, but they've always tasted bitter to me. If someone offers me one I'll take it so I don't look like an ***, but I'll be the first guy going for a Pepsi at a party or wherever.

I do like Mike's Hard Lemonade though, so I'll go for that if it's available. I guess it gets a rap for being a girly option (or so I've been told), but I don't care that much. I'll take what I take.

But honestly, I don't drink any of this stuff enough to have a preference. My parents don't really drink either, so I probably got it from there.

I don't know if that's uncommon, I prefer watching alone too since there aren't distractions and I can focus on the action
