I think BBT is one of the most consistently funny shows on television.

I have nothing to base it off of except the students that would tell me I needed to watch it.

This comes up once every few months, but I agree. The Big Bang Theory is not funny or entertaining to me.

I would rather watch the slowly dying HIMYM on CBS . I miss the early seasons of that show. Glad they are finally wrapping it up.

That show really isn't funny to me either. When I tried to watch it, I really only laughed at the guy that's always wearing suits and the guy married to the band camp chic from American Pie.

For the past 10-15 years or so any comedy on Big Four TV networks not named Seinfeld, Arrested Development, The Office or Parks and Rec (not as good as the other 3, but is worth a mention) sucks.

I agree if we're comparing them while they're both on air (with the exception of P&R's first season which was just bad). However, the first couple of seasons of The Office is some of the best episodes of a comedy series ever and I can't put P&R with those seasons or Seinfeld/AD.

I do love the characters in P&R, but I have to take some points away for originality since it's pretty much a straight rip off of The Office.
