I like spiderman more for the old cartoons, rather than the movies.

I refuse to even watch that latest spiderman movie.

Batman has been solid for me from the comics to the games and movies. To me, Batman excels because of the villains he has to overcome.

They are all unique and most are entertaining enough by themselves without Batman.

Same here. A lot of my friends are big into comic book movies. Outside of the Nolan Batman movies, I have very little interest in seeing super hero movies.

I just went to The Wolverine the other day after a round of golf with some buddies. Walking in I asked if there was any plot I should know beforehand, because I think I've seen half of I've X Men movie in my life. They're all like "Zomg you haven't seen the other 29 X Men movies?!?!"

Which leads me to a possibly uncommon opinion: I HATE watching movies on TV. Especially when you start watching in the middle of the movie. Whenever my roommate would have the remote, a lot of times when nothing was on he'd just find a movie on TV. Always annoyed me, lol

I've seen pizza, chilli/soup/sandwiches, steak and baked potato, etc. Well two years ago I made a suggestion. I spoke up and said, "Well, you guys never let one of the grandchildren make a call on dinner. Why don't we do breakfast food ?". I'm glad my grandmother agreed... it was fan-****ing tastic.

Pancakes, biscuits, white "brown" gravy, tomato gravy, chocolate gravy, red eye gravy, pork sausage, deer sausage, deer chops, eggs, bacon, grits, toast, cantaloupe, etc.

It may have been the most insane breakfast I've ever had.
Grits are so underrated. I know every area of the country as some unique and very good foods, but I wouldn't trade "southern cooking" for anything.

I think Spiderman has a pretty terrible rouges gallery aside from Green Goblin, Venom, and Kingpin (who I identify more with DareDevil than anything else). So I can see why you might not like him. He just doesn't have that villian to contrast with and enhance his strengths as a character IMO. IMO, the best interaction is actually between him and Iron Man who took sort of a surrogate father role.

Superman has a fantastic rogues gallery. Right up there with Batman in DC IMO. His powers are so boring though, so I can see why you might dislike him there as well.

The Fantastic Four have the best rouges gallery in Marvel aside from the X-Men (IMO). Doctor Doom, Silver Surfer, and Galactus. I wanted to include Thanos here, but I'm fairly certain he doesn't count as he's more of a universal villain.

On the other point, I feel like Avatar the Last Airbender was universally praised as being, sort of, the pinnacle of western animation in the last decade. Which of course drew influences from anime to the point where everyone started referring to it as an anime....when it wasn't (at least not in the technical sense).

Now that I think about it, Batman really is the best. He's the most realistic of the superheroes, and he has the most realistic villains.

              Re: Uncommon Opinions

I'm easily entertained so there isn't exactly a superhero I hate, as long as there is a story i'm good. I do like DC more then Marvel just because I grew up watching the Batman Beyond, Superman, and Justice League cartoons. Marvel has made some pretty good movies though.

Superman and Batman are probably my favorites, different type of stories and great villains. I've never bought into the whole "Who's unrealistic, stronger, can't die, etc." type of argument, I mean it's a freaking superhero that alone is unrealistic and none of them are really going to die in something with the few exceptions of some storylines.

Wait, what? Spider-Man has a terrible rogues gallery but Superman doesn't? That's probably the first time I've heard that.

                  X-Men does nothing for me.

                  Superman does even less.

                  Watchmen was okay.

Kick-*** is a comic book, right? That was good.

I'm with Chase on this. There is Batman, there is Spider-Man (and I guess there is Kick-*** if he counts), and that is the extent of my ****s given on superhero movies.

Although Iron Man was pretty decent now that I think of it. Maybe I'd throw him in there, but he's fourth on the list.

The ending of that movie pissed me off soooooo much.

Boltie's on the list though. Forgot about her.

The best comic book movie begins and ends with Scott Pilgrim.

Scott Pilgrim was horrible. I couldn't make through the whole movie. Think I shut it off 3/4 of the way through.

I'll take a Marvel hero over a DC hero 4/5 times. I'll take a DC villain over a Marvel villain 4/5 times.

Superman is my least favorite "mainstream" hero by a wide margin.
