Wow.. Vin is great, it's been one of the highlights moving to southern California.

I love hearing the stories he tells throughout the broadcast.

I'm sure you appreciate him more if you get to listen to him on a regular basis. But the select few times I've listened to him, I've come away with the same impression as Sega.

I'm fine with people choosing other announcers over Sully. To say you don't like, or don't get the hype behind Scully only leaves me for with the impression you're deaf, or you're trying to not like him.

The fast food restaurants are just catching on to what smaller restaurants have been doing for ages. There is a turkey dijon pretzel sandwich at a bar near me. Another place has hamburgers on pretzel rolls each fall. And then I went to a bar in Cleveland that has a brat on a pretzel bun. This isn't anything new. It is just mainstream now.

There's a place on the boardwalk in Ocean City called The Wrapper, and it has all kinds of "wraps" that are a pretzel with your choice of meat, or dip, or topping, or combination baked into it. Delicious.

It's on Atlantic Ave. I think the easiest way to find it is if you're on the boardwalk and heading away from the inlet, look for it on the left soon after you pass the Ripley's Believe It Or Not with the great white shark sticking out of the top.

Or just look for the drunk guy stumbling over to it, it could be me or any other jackass in Ocean City. :o

As for my uncommon opinion, riding the bus in Ocean City is actually fun/entertaining.

Just last night I was takin the bus home and three Irishmen were on there being comical with their great accents; chatted with them a bit as one of them nearly fell through the emergency window. I've got a few bus stories.

Friday Night Light the movie is infinity better than the TV Show.

While both are amazing, I agree with you totally. The only thing that bothers me about the movie is the historical inaccuracy, but the overall greatness of the movie overcomes that.

That's fine. But when I hear him call a game winning HR, and it sounds like it happened in March vice August, that's what I don't get. No enthusiasm.

Not saying he needs to be a screaming lunatic, but show some excitement.

Now me, as a Cleveland honk, gimme Tom Hamilton any day..

My all-time great list includes Scully and Uecker, Red Barber (even though I never got to hear him live, recordings of him are impressive), and Twins PBP guys John Gordon and Herb Carneal are up there for me as well. Jack Buck is up there as well, but the mere fact that he fathered the abomination that is Joe Buck takes him away from the top of this list.

Loved Jack Buck, but man Joe isn't anything near Jack. I didn't expect him to be Jack, because well, he can't be Jack, but I didn't expect him to be awful.
