Ive seen the first one in HS for a class. It didnt move me whatsoever.

I have seen the newer movies and just accepted that those were a fail according to the diehard fans of the series; so I didnt think much of them based on that.

The new one's coming on cable TV all the time was what made me watch the originals.

I now have the entire series but no, I wouldn't try force it on anyone, and I understand and don't care that someone wouldn't want to watch them

The scifi and effects in the movie hold up pretty well. And yes, the newer three are an abomination, however as far as cinematic quality, story telling, and the epitome of sequels, it is a fantastic series to watch. Not just fanboyism, but ESB remains one of the best movies of all-time and the sequel to which all sequels will be judged.

Once had a girl have a serious Ted Moseby like reaction to me not liking Star Wars and The Lord of The Rings. She said it almost stopped her from wanting to get it in and I really do believe her.

She was that damn serious about it.

I didn't mind Episode III, but yeah, I and II are dog.

I don't blame people for not being into them. I enjoy it, but not as much as my other "guilty nerd pleasures," like LOTR and Star Trek

For those that have seen the Star Wars movies... Do you enjoy playing the Star Wars video games?

Kotor Kotor II, sw:battlefront and Jedi academy were great games, TFU was okay, TFU2 was Meh. The rest I haven't bothered with or can't remember without major nostalgia.

KOTOR was awesome. I never finished KOTOR 2. I played SW:Galaxies back in the ollllddddd days, it was flawed but fun at the time. I remember playing the first Star Wars: Dark Forces back in like 5th grade. The Jedi Knight games are classics

Force Unleashed was a good story, but it was in the generation of shorter gameplay due to action gameplay and high graphics.

I've never seen the original Star Wars trilogy but KOTOR was definitely one of my favorite games that I've ever played.

It's definitely up there for me. I still play it time to time on my Macbook since it's available on the app store. Was really the first RPG I played after Final Fantasy 7,8,9 and 10. I love Skyrim but I would probably rather play Kotor over it.
