Re: Uncommon Opinions
A good home cooked meal, burger, etc. almost always beats going out, but when it comes to a restauraunt burger.. Five Guys is pretty ****ing good, but it is a bit overpriced. I spent $14.00 on a bacon cheeseburger w/ jalapenos, tomato, mayo, mustard, and ketchup and some fries.
I just hate the "Oh I'd rather have it home made" line some use in regards to talking about burger joints. Yeah, wouldn't we all ?Last edited by AUChase; 01-31-2014, 10:07 PM.Comment

Hardee's, I believe, holds the crown for my favorite chicken biscuit. Whataburger's would be great if they were more creative with the chicken.Comment

Re: Uncommon Opinions
I don't know if this restaurant has been mentioned, but on the topic of burgers, Steak 'n Shake's steakburgers absolutely kill me. I'm trying to eat the whole burger in one bite it's so good. A double steakburger from there with a chocolate milkshake is one of the best things to get around where I live!Attached FilesComment

Re: Uncommon Opinions
We don't have any in CA (there's one in Vegas, Reno and Tempe and that's pretty much it for out here) and don't have them in Wisconsin either... but man I used to love going there when I was still with my ex and would go visit her.
That was good stuff, for "fast food".badComment

Re: Uncommon Opinions
For what it's worth, give me a legit Steak n Shake over In n Out any day. As a whole package SnS is better, though In n Out may have slightly better burgers.
It's food, though, so personal taste always varies.badComment

Re: Uncommon Opinions
That's what it is here, bacon cheeseburger, fries, and a coke, $13.54.
That's why I go to a local place that's pretty much a clone instead: http://www.homerunburger.com/ Same thing is under $9. Just a couple weeks ago went there and two double cheeseburgers, two fries, one coke, one water was $19.
As for Steak and Shake, I always have to go Frisco Melt.Comment

Re: Uncommon Opinions
Five Guys is pretty good, but they are a tad greasy for my liking. I try to find good, local places wherever I live and only do fast food when I'm traveling.
I actually prefer Carl's Jr./Hardees when it's done right, but the quality is so inconsistent. Wendy's is a close 2nd out of the most accessible fast food burgers.
As for Cracker Barrel, I love it.Comment
