IDGAF what chicks wear to be honest (they look good in both!). But for me Id rather be in a slick pair of jeans and a crisp peacoat than be in a pair of shorts and a tshirt with some flippy floppies looking like a lame.

The worst part of the World Cup is everybody who feels the need to broadcast the fact that they are not watching the World Cup. It out numbers the "Napoleon Complex/Jehovah's Witness" Soccer Fan by a wide, wide margin

I've been there, hell I still kind of am. I rarely post in the Arsenal/EPL thread in the soccer forum because there are guys there that know a lot more than me and it does feel intimidating. There's no shame in asking questions to learn.

And I'll add another uncommon opinion. I would rather it be cold outside everyday then hot and humid.

I've been there, hell I still kind of am. I rarely post in the Arsenal/EPL thread in the soccer forum because there are guys there that know a lot more than me and it does feel intimidating. There's no shame in asking questions to learn.

Same, Arsenal fan, but rarely post because I'm still new to the game - I really started to getting into soccer a few years ago, and don't know the game as well as I do football and basketball.

That's how I am as well, although I don't really have a team that I root for. I know enough to have a basic conversation about it(basically talking about certain teams from EPL or La Liga and Int'l Comp)but don't really know as much about it like some of the regulars here do, although I'm hoping with the WC starting up, I can get a better understanding of the sport.

TL;DR - I'm a casual fan but hoping to become a more knowledgeable fan in the future.

uh, maybe not a good idea to dive into FM headfirst without dipping your feet in FIFA. FM is downright scary if you don't know anything about the game.

Same here. Just actually in this past year I've really gotten heavy into it. My friend who used to play kept hounding me to watch it, so I did and now I can't get enough of it.

Became a big PSG fan over the span of that time. But obviously a Ronaldo fan as well.

No I don't. If you name anything, you can find video of somebody being way too into it. "This guy likes it, so it has to be good" is a horrible argument.
