Normally I would be counting down days, but this year I'm not going to FSU at the end of August instead I'm beginning my student teaching in a 2nd grade classroom at the start of August in Tampa. So I'm enjoying each day I sleep until noon, go to the gym, and then drink until I sleep.

Watched Kershaw's no-no (ninth inning) and I concur with the uncommon opinion about Scully.

He was a bore in the most exciting time in a pitcher's life. I've heard more excitement from a golf analyst.

The blasphemy comes when Clemson fans start thinking their stadium deserves the nickname Death Valley. They should go to an away game at LSU.

or when Sakerlina fans start saying they are the real USC. Nah bros.. you're USCe.

But guys, they have a rock from California. LSU can't compete with that. They run down a hill. The only thing LSU has done at their mockery of Death Valley is go 50-7 under Les Miles.

And everyone knows Bear Bryant is a dirty liar.

Tiger Stadium is well known nationally for having among the best game day atmospheres in college football as well as being one of the most difficult places for an opposing team to play.

Despite being 14–2 at Tiger Stadium, famed Alabama head coach Bear Bryant once remarked that "Baton Rouge happens to be the worst place in the world for a visiting team. It's like being inside a drum." In 2001, ESPN sideline reporter Adrian Karsten said, "Death Valley in Baton Rouge is the loudest stadium I've ever been in." In 2002, Miami (Ohio) coach Terry Hoeppner said of Tiger Stadium, "That's as exciting an environment as you can have ... we had communication problems we haven't had at Michigan and Ohio State." In 2003, ESPN's Chris Fowler called LSU his favorite game day experience. In 2009 former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee stated on Sean Hannity's Fox News show that "Unfair is playing LSU on a Saturday night in Baton Rouge."

Survey after survey has concluded that Tiger Stadium is the most difficult place for a visiting team to play, including surveys by the College Football Association in 1987, The Sporting News in 1989, Gannett News Service in 1995, and Sport Magazine in 1998. More recently, in 2007, ESPN named Tiger Stadium "the scariest place to play," saying that "Tiger Stadium is, by far, the loudest stadium in the country."

In 2009, ESPN writer Chris Low listed Tiger Stadium's Saturday night atmosphere as unsurpassed in the country, ranking it No. 1 out of the conference's 12 stadiums.

LSU prefers night games in Tiger Stadium with its opponents, but television coverage requires that many contests be played in the afternoons. The university is conflicted over maximizing its potential to win to needed advertising revenues from television coverage. As explained by Chet Hilburn in The Mystique of Tiger Stadium: 25 Greatest Games: The Ascension of LSU Football, "The Tigers are apt to win more games at night in Tiger Stadium but the university takes in much more revenue for a day game televised by CBS because of the Southeastern Conference contract with the network is so lucrative."

In 2008, as Alabama narrowly defeated LSU, Wright Thompson of ESPN.com described Tiger Stadium as "the best place in the world to watch a sporting event."

In 2013, the NCAA ranked Tiger Stadium as the loudest stadium in all of college football.

I was so close to being in that game but our ridiculous AD actually denied the NCAA's request to put our school in. She ended up costing me tens of dollars from this EA lawsuit.

They left me out after they came to our school to put our field in the game. I'm still salty...

This was after my freshman season I went 7-1 as a starter...instead they put the coach's son in the game who was a bullpen catcher. Oh and his ratings were pretty good...

They put 24 real players in there for us and there was a random pitcher. That random pitcher should've been me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have agreed in the past about The Show bring kind of boring and not nearly as great as its proclaimed. This year, however, I am completely infatuated with the game. I don't know what has changed as the game still has some major flaws, but I'm already 3 seasons into my franchise and having a blast with it.

No, Clemson needs to be stopped. They're just a combination of LSU and Auburn, minus everything that makes LSU as Auburn awesome. They even stole Auburn's campus design and geography, except they have a lake. That's the only difference between the two places.
