Breaking Bad sucks and The Sopranos is overrated.

    Harry Potter anything is overrated.

The offensive explosion in the NFL isn't a good thing.

Let them use steroids, I don't care.

College basketball is unwatchable. I don't care how hard they "try".

Seinfeld is good for a few chuckles, but it never gives me a genuine, omg my stomach hurts kind of laugh.

      Yeah, FR sent!

But to alter this a little more...the only good thing about summer IMO is that it ends, no matter what the Beach Boys say.

I love cloudy days, temps in the 40's and 50's and a bit of rain. I miss Seattle.

I forced myself to finish the first episode and haven't gotten any further since.

I was actually about to post that I love the weather up here. Out of the two states I've lived in (Georgia, Washington) I'd take Washington weather 100% of the time. Sometimes we get some snow, sometimes we get so days in the mid 80s to low 90s. Everything is pretty good for the majority of the year as long as it doesn't rain too much. I do like that it rains during the summer pretty often up here because my allergies don't act up so much then.

The only thing that sucks is that most houses aren't built with A/C for the summer

Moving on: I think some women's sports take way too much criticism just because they involve women.

I agree with the guy who doesn't care about steroid use in sports. I want to see the extreme limits of the human body, I don't care if someone is "clean" or not, especially since it's a very arbitrary distinction with all the legal supplements that people can take. Also, if you make them legal for everyone, it still comes down to who is the most talented.

As a side note, the word "overrated" has now become one of my words to avoid. It's just too easy to say something is "overrated" without having to back that claim up with why somebody believes what they believe. Stand up for what and why you believe. Put some effort into. Don't just label it as "overrated."

Something Country and "Pop music" does is have other people write songs for them. That's why I don't listen to much of it and think most of it sucks.

I also hate when a song involves some really simple chords on guitar and the vocalist sits there strumming the same ****ing thing the whole time and everyone thinks they are some spectacular guitarist.

I'm not opposed to country, but if it wasn't produced before the year 2000, there's a really good chance I don't like it.

Metal/Metal core is probably my favorite genre and sub genre, but most people don't like that either.

-Rearviewmirror is Pearl Jam's best song. And while I'm not saying it's the GREATEST SONG EVAR!!!*, it's probably one of the best songs to come from the 90's

*I also think it's impossible to say a song or a band is the greatest ever. TV Shows, Movies, athletes, knock yourself out. But as far as bands/musicians/singers/songs? Wayyyy too many variables and genres to even begin ranking. Not sure this counts as an uncommon opinion, though.
I'm going to have to disagree with you there... it's a fantastic song, but over songs like Jeremy, Black, Even Flow and Alive? That's a tough one. Pearl Jam has far too many great songs for me to say definitively that Rearviewmirror is their best.

Can't say I agree with this. Steroids have too many adverse side effects for me to justify that, but I will say that I completely support allowing guys like Bonds, Clemens, McGuire, etc. into the hall.

Reminds me of one of mine: Top player salaries should be $1 mil. No more. Absolutely no reason for guys to be getting any more than that. Minimum should be $200k a year (more than enough to live comfortably) and tops should be $1 mil. For multiple reasons: 1) With less to pay for player salaries, ownership could easily (and should) lower ticket prices and still earn a profit, 2) With earning less money, athletes would be forced to be more careful with their profits and hopefully, with the extra money teams would be saving they could hire financial consultants for the players to assist them in that regard. It could also go toward having better insurance plans for players, protecting them for their futures.
