Reminds me of one of mine: Top player salaries should be $1 mil. No more. Absolutely no reason for guys to be getting any more than that. Minimum should be $200k a year (more than enough to live comfortably) and tops should be $1 mil. For multiple reasons: 1) With less to pay for player salaries, ownership could easily (and should) lower ticket prices and still earn a profit, 2) With earning less money, athletes would be forced to be more careful with their profits and hopefully, with the extra money teams would be saving they could hire financial consultants for the players to assist them in that regard. It could also go toward having better insurance plans for players, protecting them for their futures.

So players and owners should voluntarily make less money? lol

Can't say I agree with this. Steroids have too many adverse side effects for me to justify that, but I will say that I completely support allowing guys like Bonds, Clemens, McGuire, etc. into the hall.

yeah. I really had something to say about that post...but I knew it was probably a little bit too political, so I killed it.

As far as all of the "alcohol tastes terrible and I don't see the point of it" posts, what age are you all? I remember saying that up until I was 20ish. Now I think a good IPA tastes great. So does Scotch.

Main reason I ask that is because I wonder if your taste bud change, or if you just acquire the taste.

- Gangnam Style is a rip-off of Jump On It and it annoys me that people went crazy over it --- you had the stupid dance for almost 30 years and didn't do it.

- I root for division rivals in the playoffs (I like to think my team got beat out by the best)

- I HATE icing unless it's like whipped cream. Give me the cake only please. I always scrape it off. That sugary overload burns my throat.

- I can't stand hard liqour ... give me a beer instead.

- 90% of the people in America don't know how to make a left turn by actually getting in-line with where they are turning to (Stop cutting the corner!)

A cap on salaries so that "people will be smart with their money" is absolutely ridiculous. They are making the money that they make because they have fans and tv networks paying billions of dollars to watch them play. If that money didn't go to the athletes, it wouldn't disappear or go to charity, it would just end up in the owners's pockets.

1. Baseball is boring and over rated. But I do like playing the video game version of it.

2. Music in general is over rated and I can live without it.

3. Chicken is nasty. You will never see me go to KFC, Churches, Popeyes, etc and order a bucket of chicken. Not going to happen. I will tolerate it in stir fry, strips, KFC grillers form in the burrito or a McChicken sandwich. But I never understood people love for chicken.

4. Fish is nasty.....You can't pay me to eat that crap.

5. Beans of any kind is nasty. Same thing with peas.

6. Intel is vastly over rated.

7. Windows 8 is awesome.

8. Internet Explorer 9 is actually very good.

9. Zombie craze needs to die and stay dead.

10. Walking Dead, Justified, Archer bores the hell out of me and is over rated.

11. Other then Criminal Minds, every tv show on CBS, NBC and ABC is terrible.

12. Online gaming is over rated. Bores the hell out of me.

13. The word "SIM" needs to die. Way over used on this website and people use it more to draw attention to their roster, sliders or league then anything else. Because in reality their rosters, sliders and leagues majority of the time don't be "sim" at all.

14. NASCAR isn't a sport.

15. Harlem Shake is annoying and how that went viral is beyond me.

16. Sitting around a fire pit is BORING.

17. 2K sports isn't God. The only good sport they make is basketball. AP2K8 was garbage. So why people constantly say 2K could do a better job at making a football game, be it pro or college is beyond me. Their last good football game was 2K5. Pretty sure half if not all that worked on that game no longer work for 2K right now.

18. Paying $200 for basketball shoes is stupid.

19. NYC really isn't all that beautiful. If you seen one major city downtown area, you pretty much seen them all.

20. All news organizations are bias.

21. The whole holding up a cue card full of words instead of just talking fad needs to die.

OR.....you get this " Well the reason you don't like it is because you have to play part 1 and part 2 first to truly appreciate this masterpiece of a game. So buy the other 2 games first." OR "Try my slider set and roster set out. You will like the game then" OR "Join a sim league, the game will be fun then"

Okay, perhaps I'm a bit idealistic. But, I still stand by what I said. There is absolutely no reason for guys to be paid multiple million dollars to play a game. Also, for many sports owners, the teams are not their main sources of income, they have others, why do they need to be raking it in off of fans? Why not make the game affordable for your consumers? I realize that, with player unions in place and greedy sharks for agents, player salaries will never decrease. Ever. But, honestly, there I see no reason for guys to be paid big bucks just because they can put a ball through a hoop, a bat on a ball, etc, while people like teachers, who make a huge difference in kids lives and is the one who molds the minds of children are getting such meager salaries. It's a huge disconnect, IMO. But you did prove my point that this is a very unpopular opinion.

So why do you get to decide the worth of all of these players? Why do you get to decide how much is too much?

If you don't like how much money sports teams & players make, you should probably quit buying sports games, apparel, memorabilia, tickets, etc.

I don't remember the last time anybody paid $1,000 to watch a teacher teach.

1. The only time video games are fun are when you're playing with friends who are in the same room.

2. I find PGA and MLB coverage far more interesting and entertaining than NBA and NFL games combined.

3. The EPL has the best atmosphere in all of sports. I don't understand how anyone could find soccer boring if that person ever attended an EPL game.

4. I'd rather play a sport than watch my team play on tv.

5. Hate excess cheese.

6. Hate mayonnaise.

7. Love sweet tea.

8. Have no urge to be angry/fight when intoxicated.

9. I have nothing against UVA.
