Re: Official OS Sports Card Collecting Thread
I keep seeing that card on eBay every time I look. Like all the cards aren't like ones in Top Loaders, they're full-on 10 PSA Cards. I'm surprised that they're so valuable, yet you can get them for $50-$100. Makes me want to buy one, but I'm dirt-poor right now, so it'll have to wait...I think I've said it in this thread before, but all I want is the most elusive card of my childhood:

It was easier to win the lottery back then than it was to pull this card from an Upper Deck pack in 1989.
Now, I could probably buy five of them for 100 bucks. And, I will, eventually. I have two sons and would love to give them one as well. Pretty cool to have your dad's favorite card from his childhood, especially when it was a card that he failed in trying to get the old fashioned way.
Best card ever, IMO...Comment

Haha and I didn't bid on that one because someone else had bid. I was looking for a cheap third to get his guarantee thing but I didn't find one that was worth it.Kansas City Royals | FC Barcelona | New Orleans Pelicans

There is a small coin and card collectible store near me that has this card for sale graded. Forget how much he was charging though.I think I've said it in this thread before, but all I want is the most elusive card of my childhood:

Re: Official OS Sports Card Collecting Thread
Bah, that break wasnt as good as the last one for me. Was able to add 3 more base cards that I thinks completes my cubs set for this release.
Just need to finish the mini chrome set and I think there's one auto to get.Comment

I found about 5 Corey Patterson cards when I was going through my Cubs boxes, and since it is your birthday I am going to burn them in your honor

So I was in the mood to open some packs and saw a box of Donruss Extra Edition at Target. Box was $29.99 but did include 2 autographs. I wasn't looking to spend that much so settled on a box of Bowman. Should have saved my money... Lol.
