Now, I could probably buy five of them for 100 bucks. And, I will, eventually. I have two sons and would love to give them one as well. Pretty cool to have your dad's favorite card from his childhood, especially when it was a card that he failed in trying to get the old fashioned way.

    Best card ever, IMO...
The 89 Upper Deck set is the best set ever imo. That Griffey card is still one of my favorite cards, if not my favorite card ever as well.

Haha my max was $3.50 and I wasn't gonna bid again if I got out bid so it would have been yours easily. Did you buy anything?

I keep seeing that card on eBay every time I look. Like all the cards aren't like ones in Top Loaders, they're full-on 10 PSA Cards. I'm surprised that they're so valuable, yet you can get them for $50-$100. Makes me want to buy one, but I'm dirt-poor right now, so it'll have to wait...

Yup, put in a last minute bid for the Cubs, didnt really want it, but I said **** it. No one else placed a bid on it, so I now I'll root for more of those mini chrome cards

Haha and I didn't bid on that one because someone else had bid. I was looking for a cheap third to get his guarantee thing but I didn't find one that was worth it.

There is a small coin and card collectible store near me that has this card for sale graded. Forget how much he was charging though.

Bah, that break wasnt as good as the last one for me. Was able to add 3 more base cards that I thinks completes my cubs set for this release.

Just need to finish the mini chrome set and I think there's one auto to get.

Won the bidding on this on ebay tonight. Of course I had the only bid to win it though. Haha. $7 including shipping.

I found about 5 Corey Patterson cards when I was going through my Cubs boxes, and since it is your birthday I am going to burn them in your honor

So I was in the mood to open some packs and saw a box of Donruss Extra Edition at Target. Box was $29.99 but did include 2 autographs. I wasn't looking to spend that much so settled on a box of Bowman. Should have saved my money... Lol.

bought four boxes at the card shop today and my 7 year old pulled one great hit.

started with an old school 96-97 SP break and only pulled 2 Kobe's...they came out of the same pack too...pulled a nice Jordan insert also
