Not quite your previous haul, but got a Buxton Chrome card along with Pads prospects Wisler and Phillips. Got a Al Kaline blue refractor too.

Yeah I saw your card on Ebay, very nice hit. If I got a card like that and it was a prospect I would most likely put it on Ebay as well. Their prices can be way too volatile, and I'd rather spend money on proven guys, or hall of famers.

Well, picked up my 2013 Topps Series 2 jumbo box this afternoon. I got the usual 2 relics and an autograph. One of the relics may score me some nice cash on ebay. Really considering selling it. Here they are.

Only 99 of those Harper coins made. Only 2 on ebay so far. Want to wait until more show up to see what kind of action they get.

That Harper coin is pretty sick. I'll take it off your hands before you can see what they're worth. haha.

not sure if this is allowed or will rub people the wrong way -if so, please delete...I listed about 400 cards on eBay recently. I need to sell some to pay for unexpected bills. Check them out here:

Good luck selling them cards to pay your bills. I don't honestly see an issue with you just posting your listing here, but I'm not a mod so what do I know.

                      The waiting game paid off.

After being on eBay for ~1.5 months and sifting through lowball offer ($300) after lowball offer (TONS of offers for $350)... also baumy's offer of a couple dollars... finally sold my Buxton for $425, which was about the price I was looking to move it for.

Bought my first hobby box of football cards ever (2013 bowman).

                        So... Autos first.

Knile Davis - RB KC, Base unnumbered chrome auto.
TJ McDonald - S STL, Base unnumbered chrome auto.
Tyrann Mathieu - CB ARI, Base unnumbered (I think) mini-card auto redemption.
Sam McGuffie - WR OAK, unnumbered collegiate bowl auto.
Desmond Trufant - CB ATL, Chrome Blue Auto (#28/99)

                        Relic -
                        Andrew Luck patch, unnumbered.

                        Numbered Parallel Cards
                        Ryan Tannehill Die Cut (81/99)
                        Alex Okafor Gold (19/399)
                        Tyler Bray Blue (460/499)
                        Stevie Johnson Blue Refractor (38/99)
                        Ziggy Ansah Blue (425/499)
                        Matt Schaub Blue (63/99)
                        Jonathan Hankins Blue (436/499)
                        Matt Barkley Blue (293/499)
                        Ryan Otten Orange (270/299)
                        Knile Davis Red (98/199)
                        Mike Gillislee Red Ref (97/199)

Overall, I love Bowman. Nothing big in this jumbo box, but I enjoyed opening it quite a bit.

So I wanted to get some opinions from my fellow card collectors on a project I'm working on. I'm building a sort of wall display to display all of my Phillies autograph, authentic jersey, and relic cards. I have 2 shelves done so far and I'm planning on working on 2-3 more in the coming week to be placed above the 2 current ones. I took a poster off of one of the walls in my Phillies man cave for the display. I wouldn't really call them shelves...more like nice pieces of wood I stained/glossed and cut a groove into so the cards can stand on it. I have 2 pictures of what I have done so far. Just wanted to know what you guys think of it. It's a really neat way to display the cards you don't want to have tucked away in a box.

Nice. The only thing I would mention when talking about card displays is to make sure you are not subjecting the cards (especially autographs) to direct sunlight. Cool stuff!

No issues there. My finished basement has one window that the sun never hits anyway. Plus, the window is on the other side of the room away from that wall.

Anyone who has bought this year's Bowman baseball... Have you redeemed the codes for the Prospect Challenge? I just realized my players were Inactive. Thought they would be Active by default after I selected them... I am so dumb....
