Re: OS Hats Thread
Does anyone have any "break in" rituals or do you just throw your hat on straight from the store?
Most of the New Era hats have high pointy crowns which I cant stand, so I like to fill that hat with water about half an inch below where the headband is and let the water soak through. I might have to do it a couple times but it usually helps round out the top of the hat.Battle.net: xXKING08Xx

Re: OS Hats Thread
Yeah...I'm not big on doing anything to the hat like putting it in the oven or the dishwasher or kicking it around or putting it under a couch cushion or all these crazy *** things you see. Wear it in. Keep it in your car and every time you drive, wear it, even if it's at night (just wear it backwards).Does anyone have any "break in" rituals or do you just throw your hat on straight from the store?

Re: OS Hats Thread
So I bought a fitted hat in the size that usually fits me perfect, but this particular one is just a little bit too big. Do you guys have any tips on shrinking it a little bit? I read that if you get it wet and just leave it out to dry in the sun it will shrink a little, but does anyone else have any other tips?NFL: Bills

Re: OS Hats Thread
If you use that method the best thing to do is wear it and let it dry on your head that way you know it wont shrink up too much. And it needs to be completely dry.So I bought a fitted hat in the size that usually fits me perfect, but this particular one is just a little bit too big.
