I am absolutely terrified of what other people think of me. To the point at which I'm convinced that no one actually likes me or enjoys my company. Somewhere, deep down, I know that isn't true. But for whatever reason, I can't shake that thought.

You hit it on the head, it's a hundred times easier to tell a bunch of people you'll more then likely never meet about yourself then it is when someone is right infront of you. Three people in my life know about what happened to me, none are family.

Yeah I know. We weren't ever really close friends, but he's still someone I'd call my friend and vice versa. However, in that particular situation, I think what pushed me was that she said he had been pressuring her into giving it up and she wasn't ready for it at the time (she was ~3 years younger, so only 15 or 16 at the time). He gave her 2 weeks to 'be ready' and I thought that was wrong.

In retrospect, wasn't my battle to fight. Heh.

well, if you're doing the right thing than that's what matters. i suppose not many ppl would've taken a stand in that situation.

I talk to myself, sometimes out loud sometimes only in my head, almost constantly throughout the day. Play out full scenarios in my head as both sides of the conversation, etc.

same. sometimes I'll be doing it in my car and think ppl who drive by me must think I'm nuts. and I am haha. Do it in the shower all the time, especially if there's something on my mind that is stressing me, I'll just play out that scenario out loud. can be a good stress reliever.

- I spent the last two years of school (3rd and 4th year) purposely taking extremely light course loads and dropping classes mid-semester so that I would have to take a 5th year (this year) of classes in order to get my Bachelor's, on my parents' dollar no less (although my first 3 years of school were on full scholarship so it's not as bad). I am smart, whereas I can can get A's or B's in almost anything without putting forth much effort and could have graduated in 3 or 3.5 years, but I am terrified as to what I am going to do when I do graduate which is mostly why I did this.

-When playing a video game with a soundtrack which doesn't have lyrics that I will be listening to constantly (something like NCAA or Skyrim), I start making this horn noise with my mouth to play along with the music. I will only do this when alone, but I have been caught doing it a few times to where I then proceed to say it is just the game.
