You may be right. Going slower would also give them a chance to evacuate as many people as possible as they clear the houses. Is the scanner working for anyone still or did they shut it down?

Scanner is still working - just not that main stream. Other ones are available but tactical operations have switched to private channels.

I didn't hear anything about this, but does this younger brother who is trapped know that his brother is dead?

Was reported that he ran his brother over after he got shot, so I'd say so.

I was at work last night, but followed it all.

This is just crazy... It is hard to wrap my head around the fact that he was not only able to escape after his brother was killed, but he is still on the loose with so many resources and highly trained Law Enforcement focused in on him. He's 19... It just doesn't seem possible. I am honestly not trying to allude to anything here, but it's hard for me to grasp.

There are many factors to this, though. You still have to keep the public's safety at the forefront. I know they can't just start assaulting areas where he might be.

I tried to stay with this story all night, but many sites were blocked at work. Where is everyone going for the most up-to-date info? Last thing I read on the way home from work was that he might be in Connecticut in a Honda?

If someone could fill me in via link, I would appreciate it.

He was trying to get away from the cops. It may or may not have been intentional. Nonetheless, the brother had already been shot and probably killed before that.
