I'm not fighting for these guys one bit. But I've seen the "friends thing" plenty of times. Especially to very good people. I guess in the end they made a very bad decisions.

There is a small part of me that feels bad for these guys. BUT If they truly knew he was the bomber when the photos were released then... send them away.

"If convicted, Kadyrbayev and Tazhayakov face a maximum sentence of five years in prison, and Phillipos faces a maximum sentence of eight years in prison, prosecutors said."

Here the part that doesn't make sense for me. Didn't the 2 guys throw away the stuff and lie. Shouldn't they spend more time in jail then the guy that just lied. If someone with better knowledge on the subject could full in me. It would be nice.
Could be as simple as, they were offered a deal, talk and the punishment will be lowered. Some talked, some didnt.
Don't you EVER read my blog? It's gotten a lot better.

Boston bombing suspects planned attack for July 4; but bombs were ready early so plans were moved up to marathon - @PeteWilliamsNBC

Holy **** if they had gotten into the Boston Pops fireworks celebration....that would've been so bad.

It terrifies me to wonder what they could have done with more time to plan but I'm not so sure the end target would have been in Boston had they gone with their original plan.

WOuldn't be surprised if they had planned it for NYC.

Either way, terrifying to think of what they could have done with the firepower they had.

While I agree - the fireworks display in Boston draws an incredible, incredible crowd and is broadcast throughout te country (in certain parts, at least). Plus, that's families, lots of young kinds, and people sitting at ground level where those bombs were designed to take out limbs. Would've been ridiculously bad if they had decided to stay in Boston.

NYC would've been the next logical choice had they moved.

Yea, my thought didn't have anything against what could have been done there, it would be terrible no matter where it's done.

I just think with more time to plan they probably would have done it somewhere other than their backyard.

Also it would have been at night so it would be easier to place more backpacks without getting noticed. The crowd is packed in there for 4th of July and like you said, almost everyone is sitting. I can't imagine the devastation if they had targeted Boston on the 4th.

They might have gotten away with it since it would be dark and you wouldn't have as many cameras, TV cameras and store front security cameras.

Sounds like this was their plan, damn, that would have been horrific.

No cemetery in the country is willing to take the bastard's body. I find this awesome.

Boston has a potter's field, just bury him there under unidentified if his family doesn't want to, or can't, claim his body. Why the big hubbub?

I think even then the security factors would be too much. They better throw this guy out to sea. If anyone does take him. It will be a huge secret.
