Granted I also have freezers full of fresh fish so I am a bit biased but I also know of the dangers of farm raised fish in general so take it how you want. My personal health opinion, stay away from any farm raised.
@VT, its not just Tilapia though, catfish is another huge one since so many people purchase catfish but a good 70% of those store bought fish are farm raised I would bet.Comment

Re: What is your favorite food?
I'll chime in on this, I highly agree with this. Tilapia is a extremely dirty fish and mixed with the terrible living conditions of farm raised fish, I would guide everyone away from eating it. From cancer causing pesticides to the toxic chemicals they use to keep the fish alive in small densely packed tanks. All of it is not good for humans.

Fried pig skin, fat, and little meat. Original cajun cracklins taste COMPLETELY different than those cheap fluffy "pork rinds" you see in stores around the country.Last edited by Phobia; 08-05-2013, 05:16 PM.Comment

Re: What is your favorite food?
I grew up eating cracklin. I had that 10 times more then I had potato chips or Doritos. Use to walk around with a brown bag full of it smothered in hot sauce, eating it everyday. Haven't had that in years though. But cracklin and pork rinds.......child hood memories.Comment
