    An Australian man attending an Oklahoma college on a baseball scholarship was shot and killed in what police described Monday as a random act of violence by three "bored" teenagers who decided to kill someone for the fun of it.


    Just plain sad. How could anybody justify something like this? Just sick and twisted.

      I don't want to hear any nonsense about them being minors, they better be tried as adults and spend the rest of their worthless lives in prison.

                              Disgusting. I hope the prisoners already there beat the hell out of these kids "for the fun of it."

                              There are plenty of other things teenagers can do when they are bored. How about playing videogames? Just a senseless act.

                                  Why couldn't they have gotten bored and shot each other instead. Such worthless scum. I can't for the life of me understand random shootings. Just like the mass shootings, why the hell would you kill innocent people you don't know? I don't get it.

                                      I agree... it makes no sense. It doesn't make sense to kill anyone in the first place, but seeing a random person and saying "Let's shoot that guy"? Completely senseless.

                                          I'm saying in hypotheticals, If I were really gun ho about killing someone and I wanted to go out in a blaze of glory, wouldn't I kill the person or people that I hated the most, not innocent people that have never done anything to me, and have never seen before. It just boggles my mind. There's no point.

                                              Definitely sad though. Like others have said, so many other things to do when you're bored.

                                                  Yep. That confession has to pretty much seal the deal that these are some very dangerous individuals who should never see the outside of a prison.

                                                  Put them in solitary for like 23 hours a day for the rest of their lives. Plenty of time to be bored.

                                                  This story literally makes me sick to my stomach. Couldn't even imagine losing a loved one or a friend and then hearing that explanation....

                                                      Honestly, I'm glad these people are going to go away forever. I think there are certain acts that just basically disqualify you as a human. We don't need these people in the gene pool. They were given a chance, a lifetime, and they blew it. Get Gone.
