Most of the weight you will lose will be purely water weight that you will put back on after eating again. You need to retain water to help digest carbs and by cutting those carbs out you cut that water out. As soon as you start again, the water weight will come back.

It's not healthy to do that to yourself, especially over a prolonged period of time. Use juices (homemade juices, preferrable) to supplement small healthy meals throughout the day.

No, I'm just saying that's a temporary side effect of doing it.

Juice cleanses aren't that healthy, and if people are doing them "to kick the sweets" that's a bad idea. If one has the willpower to do an unhealthy thing like a juice cleanse for a prolonged period of time, one has the willpower to not eat whatever it is they don't want to eat.

Doing it for that long will also alter the microflora in your stomach. Small, balanced meals with the addition of juice is the easiest way to do it. Taking shortcuts like 'cleanses' for whatever reason will do more damage than good in the long run.

Wow can't believe this, so this other house we were looking at a couple days ago. Has everything we're looking for (4 bed, 2.5 bath, 2 story, big backyard, garden tub for the mrs.) now today we find out that we got both houses.

Anyway, today is day 1 of my 21 day fast. Only liquids, mostly juice, for 21 days. I really hope I can make it to the 21st day.

Yeah, really. Totally not interested in reading through all that LOTR stuff. One of my friends in college was/is obsessed with it and Tolkien though.

And 21 days! Wow! I couldn't make it 21 hours on a diet like that.
