Went for a run this morning at the park around 7 am. That was the wrong number. The whole park was full of people getting ready for cookouts today. This park is pretty big but I guess people had to wake up and camp out to get good set up spots at the park.

I was dodging set up crews and zombie children left and right, as well as these tiny dogs that chased me every single time I lapped the park.

Good news is that I managed to get the job I thought I was gonna get. Bad news is just that I'm basically forced to take it since all other ones I was hoping to get an offer from didn't happen. It seems like an ok one with above average pay and all, but main thing I don't like is the hours. Basically giving up normal life for this because the days/hours are worked so strange that basically my free time is when everyone is busy,and everyones free time will be when I'm busy. If only it started/ended like 3 hours earlier,that would've been better.

Weekday part won't really be that bad, it's just the weekend hours is the part I'm dreading the most(especially once summer is over). No sunlight,people I know will all be asleep by time I'm done, and I'll have to DVR everything I watch(including sports..which will be the hardest part in terms of tv shows go)...gonna be weird.

Oh god no. I can only imagine how crowded that place would have been. This was at Canarsie Park. It was probably much more tame than Prospect would have been.

So a buddy and I decided do a podcast and we did our first show on Saturday. We always just go on and rant about random crap all the time so we decided hey what the hell let's record it for others we know to hear. I have to say doing it was fun as hell and I look forward to doing more.

Well, I just pulled the plug and ordered my new desktop (college graduation present). I could have probably saved some money by building it, but I was able to get a custom build online and I'm pretty pleased with what I've got. I was able to take advantage of some Memorial Day sales, so the price wasn't as bad as would be typical. Lord knows I'm relieved, anyways. It was so stressful searching the internet for days........

It should be a good one for max settings on iRacing and hopefully better settings for FSX. I'm currently on a four-year old ACER laptop, so it will be a nice improvement. I still need to look for a monitor.

As it was a custom build, it won't arrive for a few weeks, so now I have some waiting around to do. Fortunately, my current laptop is honestly capable of most everything I want to do, so I'm in no hurry.

Man, I act like I never play video games but here I am about to finish my second season on NHL. Had the game for about 8 months. I play all 82 game + playoffs.

To be fair, it's the only game I've really played in that time. Games take 30-40 minutes with statistics that satisfy my realism craving so I can knock out 2 in a sitting.

Recently started watching Freaks and Geeks (Yeah I know I'm super late to the party). Good show, though it's a shame knowing it will be all over after just 18 episodes. Crazy seeing all these actresses and actors from all the recent Judd Apatow projects when they were nobodies. Every episode someone new pops up. The last one I watched had Shia LaBeouf as a nerdy school mascot.

I'm pretty sad to see this semester end, it was the first semester in the past 6 years where I worked my *** off and really applied myself. If I didn't slack off a bit in the beginning I would have a 4.0 easily, but I'll settle for a 3.75
