I don't know for the other national TV channels but the one that was on at the restaurant I was tonight supposedly was going to show music but in the last two hours before new year there was the host talking most of the time (couldn't listen since there was so much noise there), a musical guest who played two songs (I've no idea who he was) and at most five musical videos. I remember when other years all channels played music music videos all night long to get into the festive mood, didn't seem like that on this channel.

Also...This years new years celebrations on TV were horrible. Every channel I got that had new years celebrations either had Miley or Demi....This years was easily the worst new years celebrations I've ever seen on TV. 50% commercials(they literally returned from a 5 min commercial break just to announce they were going back to another 5 min commercial break),40% people talking/kissing and 10% actual musical performances(all of which were from people I don't like)
