I went and still in Jacksonville at my Mom's. I think I gotta clear this up a little
- I paid my full part of December's rent
- We had to leave 2 weeks into the month because he had to go home and neither me or our other roommate have a key (I originally wasn't going to leave until the 23rd).
- I've been in Jacksonville since then
- When I get back, at the soonest Saturday, there's only about 2 weeks left in the month.
I think that may help some of y'all understand the situation better.

It seems to me that you should already have January's rent taken care of since you only stayed two weeks in December and will only be there two weeks in January.
I'd ask him for a key. Tell him that it's only for you and that you will give it back when you leave. Hell, if it's that big of a deal, with the money he's saving on rent he should have plenty to get the locks changed when you're gone.My 2K17 Boston Celtics MyLeague

Well, first off, if I read your original post correctly then he's in the same boat as you as far as having to pay a full months rent when he's only using the place for half the month. Now here's my question. Are the 3 of you all contributing a portion of the rent due in his contract or is he subletting it to you and your other roommate? If you are all contributing to the main lease, then forcing him to pay the full rent because you can't use the apartment either would seem unfair to him. Another question. If this is the case, are all 3 of your names on the lease or just his? If all 3 of your names are on the lease, then I think you would be contractually entitled to you own key. Now if he is subletting it to you, then it is probably his prerogative whether or not he chooses to have extra keys made. However, the fact that he refuses to have extra keys made or even leave the key with you while he is at home is also very unfair to you.Steelers : IX, X, XIII, XIV, XL, XLIII

What's up OS OT ? It's been a while.
I graduate from Navy RTC Friday.
It's been an interesting few months, that's for sure. I'm officially a Sailor now, but we're just killing time and waiting and doing grad. practice and such. I miss you OS dudes..
Also, thought I would mention I got my orders for after A-school. I'm going to Japan!
I'm just disappointed I missed the tail end of a crazy *** season from Auburn. I hate that things didn't go right in the NC game, but damn I'm proud of the job the team has done. My RDC is from Birmingham and he's been keeping me filled in along the way.
Also.. **** the snow, man. It's snowed every day since Thanksgiving here. The temp. got down to -14 degrees last night.. with a windchill of -30.
Just thought I would swoop in and give up an update on what's going on.. hope everything is going great for all the OSers.Comment
