I'm bored so here goes a story from last night.

I went out and had some drinks with my roommates and we got back on base and hit up this club. It sort of sucks and it's all Navy personnel for the most part so I didn't even buy a drink there.

We leave and go down to McDonalds to grab a quick bite to eat and there's a girl in there that came in with two dudes. There were a few extra ships in port that came from San Diego and the BHR got back two days ago so people are everywhere and acting crazier than usual.

It's clear this chick is ****ed up because she can't really walk. Anyways.. the two dudes just leave and she's sitting across from us with her head down. Several minutes pass and I'm thinkin'.. okay those dudes just leaving like that is pretty suspicious so I was going to check on her until she got up and started walking around the corner to the registers. It's terrible.. she hits the garbage can sitting out and looks like a ****ing puppet being led along.

She finally stumbles her way the other direction and finds the bathroom. The two dudes come back finally and one goes to check on her and then they both just sit out in the lobby while she's in the bathroom. We went to leave and I walked up to a table of females and asked them if they would do me a favor and go check on her.. she didn't look well at all and even though those two dudes might have had good intentions like I would, you just never know.

I caught a lot of **** about that from everyone I was with. That doesn't really bother me, but wouldn't most any decent person do that ? I mean.. you never really know someone's situation and while I was drunk as hell, I still knew someone should check on her and I couldn't do it.

Seriously.. the entire way back from the barracks people were giving me **** about it like I'm some sort of good samaritan trying to look good.

Wife: "Why?"
Me: "Because they get their video games in early. Chicago sucks."
Wife: *gives dirty look and reaches for a bottle of wine*
Me: "So you're in??"
Wife: "How about I throw your stupid PS4 in the trash??"
Me: "Okay, so I guess we're staying. Good talk."

Off Topic 2014

Man today was a chore.

Get the truck all packed up, once I get on I-75 after I-10 I stop for lunch. Well I stopped in a parking spot to eat and turned off the car, lol well it doesn't start back up.

Finally flag someone down in Taco Bell to help me out. My jumper cables don't reach and they break, hers don't reach at all and we couldn't do anything about it due to parking situations.

Well I sprint on over to Big Lots near by (I have a **** ton of stuff just chilling in the bed of the truck). Get a new pair and I'm kinda just sitting there at my truck pissed off until the nicest couple I've met just randomly came up to help.

Ok sweet get on the road again finally. Bumper to bumper traffic in Gainesville for a bout 30 minutes. People keep honking and motioning at me from the right which ****ing confused me cause I couldn't roll down my window at the time.

I pull over to go to the bathroom and bam flat tire. Spend 1.5 hours trying to get the spare just off my truck, lol no you need a special Ford F150 key to get it off which we never got from my uncle. I can't afford a tow and to replace the tire so I finally say screw it, roll down the highway until I found a gas station for some quick flat fix to get me by.

So a 4.5 hour drive turned into 9-10 hours

A drunk women decided to hit the ditch and flip into my driveway. Thankfully she is okay but damn that scared the **** out of me. I come running out of the house and all I see is children's shoes and I thought oh no! But thankfully she was the only one in the car.
