You've had your PC monitor for 10+ years......Does your computer look like:

lol,really though, get new monitor. $100 you can get good one. Or better yet, just get like a $20 cable and connect it to your tv.

Random thing, but sorta funny to realize how big of a different a - makes in a sports headline.

Re-sign and resign. One - makes the biggest difference, and half the time when I read headlines at first, I think it's the opposite of what happened(so if it said something like "____s coach resigns. I mistakenly look at it like "___s coach re-signs". Most recently it was D'Antoni and Lakers.)

LOL, nah, it's a flat panel that I've used with 3 different computers

Also, after 12 years, the jack for the vibrator attachment for my alarm clock (vibrates the mattress to wake me up since I can't always hear the alarm) won't stay plugged in. It just slides right out if you so much as touch it and really doesn't work.

And the top tray for my Foreman grill won't stay attached properly after I accidentally knocked it out of the dish rack after washing it and it fell on the tile floor and something apparently bent.

Yeah, I knew someone was gonna go there as soon as I typed it which is why I added the part in parentheses to clarify.

Now is someone gonna go for the trifecta and comment on the bent Foreman grill tray?

I applied for a job,didn't even get an interview, but job seemed to be filled based on it no longer being on that website........

So a few weeks after that, I went to that store(I was just buying something from there), and I see two people doing the job I actually applied for. Just passed by them in like 20-30 seconds and in that span I heard them swearing so much(not at anyone,just co-workers talking to each other while working).....But still,really? Those are the people who can get a job at certain places yet I can't even get an interview?

I've applied to so many places,even places which require 0 experience or skills(I didn't want those jobs,just wanted to see if I'd at least get interview out of that) and NOTHING! Some places postings have still been up for weeks after I applied. How can positions be open yet the stores don't even interview people who apply/are qualified for the jobs?!?

Imo calling them after you apply with get them on the ball to look at your application.

Also try to target small mom and pop and locally owned places. Less application traffic through those. That where I got my second job at a seafood place.

Was working on a dock, not really paying attention when I fell between the dock and the truck. First time in years I have done that too, shockingly I am completely unscathed, not even a bump.

Unfortunately my pants were not so lucky, completely ripped from the crotch to the butt region, now I need to go to a uniform store with my junk hanging out...

Well....This is an odd one for me....But it's off to an interview for a job that I no longer want. Should be good experience. Going to be different being more relaxed. Probably will be my best interview ever.
