The level of what the **** I experienced in FIFA 14 earlier reached amazing heights.

I agreed to coach New Zealand after rejecting a few different countries. Season ends and my team won both the Cup and La Liga and I was on a pretty good high. I got my first taste of International competition right away and I was placed in a group with Brazil, Portugal, and Wales.

I struggled big time against Portugal and after some near misses for both teams, we ended the game in a scoreless tie.

Next game I took on Brazil and they were dominating me all game. I was down 0-2 with 88 minutes left in the game and I was losing hope and I finally snuck a goal past their GK to make it 1-2. I was happy, but a loss to Brazil would likely eliminate me without a lot of help. So, somehow I get posession again and in extra minutes I score again to make it 2-2. Then I steal the ball almost immediately when play resumes, lay a sick spin move on, and break free to score a third goal in less than 5 minutes to take a 3-2 lead and win.

Next game I smashed Wales 4-1 and lock up a trip to the round of 16.

Should football cleats work fine for playing softball? I just joined a team and have a pair of football cleats. I know the cleat design is a little wider on baseball cleats, but I'll probably be playing outfield and I won't be moving that fast around the bases. I guess I could just go test them out...

Football cleats normally are heaver and focus more on ankle support compared to baseball cleats. Should be fine if speed isn't your game.

Off Topic 2014

When boarding a flight, why are people in such a rush to get on the plane. I just saw 2 people arguing because some one cut in line, one would actually think being on a plane is a good thing. I wait until I'm just about the last person on the plane.

Unless this is some kind of ultra competitive softball league, you'll be fine.

The only time I care is if I know the flight is full. It's a pain in the *** to find an overhead bin and generally the only ones left are all the way in the back of the plane. But I certainly don't care enough to rush to the front of the line or try to beat everyone to the gate. We're all going to the same place.

Only time it's worth it is you are flying Southwest and you can pick you own seat. Mad dash for the aisle, window, and emergency exit seats.

Just got done with my first game jam in years.

For those of you who aren't aware, a game jam is when you (typically with a small team) make a complete video game in a very short time period. In our case, 72 hours. We have some extra time tomorrow to polish things up, but we're basically done.

I am le tired. But a good tired.
