The only time I've heard it is Jason Mantzoukas using it as dirty slang in a few episodes of Comedy Bang Bang and How Did This Get Made?.Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn

Police officer was shot and killed a few miles south of where I work today. Survived by a wife and two teenage daughters. Looks like they just caught the suspect.
I have several family members who are police officers, so stories like that always hit home, especially when they actually happen here at home. Almost made me sick to my stomach when I heard the news today.University of Minnesota Golden Gopher Hockey

Re: Off Topic 2014
It seems like from talking to people at work that I am the odd one out for not feeling any sympathy for people who kill themselves doing things like driving drunk or speeding way too fast and dying in a crash.
I've had the conversation with nearly everyone I work with anytime some young teen dies in a car wreck or someone kills themselves when drinking or driving. I get it, it's a bit sad a teen was killed or a man/woman took their life while driving drunk. However, in my eyes they are 100% responsible for their actions and are the sole reason they're dead. If someone is killed by a drunk driver, then I get the sadness. When someone drinks and gets in a crash only involving themselves and dies. Then I feel just about no sympathy for them.

Re: Off Topic 2014
I'm really split.
We went to the humane society today, and there was an awesome dog there. He was well behaved, quiet (I've been there twice, haven't ever seen/heard him bark when there was plenty of barking/action going on around him) and generally seemed awesome. It's a cocker spaniel/poodle mix, so he doesn't shed. He's cute.
The problem is he's 9 years old. I'm not really sure what to make of adopting a pet starting on the back 9. Everywhere I've looked/the people I've talked to said that the breed normally lives 13-18 years (outliers on either side, naturally)... but it's a really hard decision. Made even harder because Mel fell in love with him as well.MLB: Minnesota Twins

Re: Off Topic 2014
I've been stressed all day at work and even got sent home because my BP was up by a few numbers and my Chief wanted me to relax until tomorrow.
He wouldn't let me in the mainspace or anything. I called home and talked to my best friend and man I feel a thousand times better now.
That's what sucks about being here. If you have a bad day at work, you can't just go visit your best friend or family. You have to find a way to call them with a 14 hour time difference. Just an hour talk on the phone with him and I'm in a much better mood.Comment

I knew that feeling all too well, When I was based Hawaii the first few weeks were really tough. I remember looking out over the courtyard onto soldiers from another company who were getting smoked, it was like 9pm, my room was bare, and the feeling of dread I had in my stomach was unreal. At that point it seemed that joining the military was a bad idea.
I'm the end things get better though.
