Who said he was putting anything in it? As someone who knows dirt, that is some mighty fine dirt. Some lovely filth down there.

Re: Off Topic 2014
You have to have patience to do that which I fortunately do. I loved every second of the play through. It took me over 20 hours if I remember right to be it. I noticed so much more about Liberty City than I did in my original few times beating IV. I also learned the entire subway system in the game and could just take it around the map without even thinking.
I tried a second play through of V doing what you are doing and made it to having all 3 characters before I stopped playing my 360 altogether, but that map is so huge it took forever to do some missions. The mission where you ride bikes with Jimmy at Del Pierro Pier took me over 45 minutes to complete and I also walked all the way back to Michael's house afterwards.
When it comes out on PC, I'll probably actually try and beat it that way. For some reason I have the patience to do that in games and I love the GTA series more than any other which helps too.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

Re: Off Topic 2014
It ended up being just a bad battery -_- Luckily it wasn't the rear view mirror fluid.
Here is the really long explanation...
SpoilerShe realized when we hooked jumper cables back up to it that her back lights turned on. I pushed the brake and nothing changed, so it was the brake lights staying on. Turns out they stayed on with the key out of the ignition too. She then remembered seeing a little blue rubber disc down by her feet that she threw away. Well this piece worked with the brake light switch. Stupid design, hard to explain. Luckily there was another piece just like right next to where the old one was. Almost like they anticipated it failing. So I had to reach up to where the brake light switch it, push in the brake, and push in a button on the switch all while trying to squeeze this rubber piece into a small hole. I got it in, but the little nub that kept it in place broke up. So I super glued it. This was after the adventure with the battery. I asked her to take the terminal clamp off. She tightened it instead of loosening and the clamp snapped in half. Had to get a new clamp. The old one was rusted on so bad I couldn't get it to move. Had to go back to the store at 9:00 at night in south Dallas to get wd40. Finally got the thing to budge. Now all the crap works.Last edited by SuperBowlNachos; 07-30-2014, 11:20 AM.Comment

Re: Off Topic 2014
I'm really split.
We went to the humane society today, and there was an awesome dog there. He was well behaved, quiet (I've been there twice, haven't ever seen/heard him bark when there was plenty of barking/action going on around him) and generally seemed awesome. It's a cocker spaniel/poodle mix, so he doesn't shed. He's cute.
The problem is he's 9 years old. I'm not really sure what to make of adopting a pet starting on the back 9. Everywhere I've looked/the people I've talked to said that the breed normally lives 13-18 years (outliers on either side, naturally)... but it's a really hard decision. Made even harder because Mel fell in love with him as well.badComment

Re: Off Topic 2014
I've got a Cocker Spaniel/Golden Retriever mix. He was three when I rescued him, but those first three years of his life were pretty tough. It's a pretty awesome feeling knowing I've given him a much better life than he had. So I say go for it.Comment
