I see ODogg made a new thread. Can we get an update on this?

He turned heel on us. Like that show Catfish, but he isn't posing as some attractive girl, even though he's a big dude. He just worked us over.

Re: My fiancé and I have been invited to be on Dr. Phil

Sorry guys, I've been meaning to give an update to you guys but truth be told nothing ever really happened. Her parents didn't agree to go on the show and Dr. Phil's producer never called us back. So for about a month or more her parents didn't talk to her at all. They just recently have begun talking to her but they won't discuss or acknowledge the wedding or me and her dad has only hinted he will come but apparently her mother will not. Hard to believe I know but it is what it is..

As someone said I started another thread about Stefanie being diagnosed with MS and I'm hoping my OS brothers can donate something, every but will help. So far we have raised $1265 I think with a couple of weeks to go until the Walk for the Cure. Her parents still will not acknowledge she has Multiple Sclerosis despite them being told this by two different doctors (neurologists) so they will not donate any money to the walk....lol..

Here is a copy of my post in the other thread, please consider donating $1, $5, $10 or whatever dollar amount you can for our MS Walk:

Anyways, as you may or may not know my fiance Stefanie Jones was recently diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). There is a fund raising walk coming up soon here in Columbus, OH to raise money towards finding a cure for MS. Stefanie and I have created a team called The Strike Team (yes we are The Shield fans, LOL) and we are trying to get people to come out and walk and/or donate whatever they can afford to help find a cure for Multiple Sclerosis. So far, in this past week, Stef and I have managed to raise nearly $1,265 and our goal is $1,500..

You can give $5, $10, $15, or whatever you can afford on the site (even as little as $1). Here is the webpage to donate to our team:

NOTE: There is no Paypal option on this site to donate but if you want to donate via Paypal please feel free to PM me and we can do Paypal and I will post it to the MS site in your name.

Please go to the site today to join our team, donate to help fight MS and/or find out more information on joining us for the walk if you are local to Columbus, OH. The walk is 1.5 miles (you can walk the route twice if you so desire) and it will occur Saturday, April 12th at 7:30am at the Columbus Zoo.

Any donation you can give is greatly appreciated and if you can't give right now we are taking donations until the race.

Something about that situation gives me pause. They have heard from two Neurologists and refuse to believe her diagnosis??

Be careful around those folks, ODogg. They seem detached from any semblance of sanity.

Believe me brother, I share the same sentiments. Unless I blacked out and murdered some folks or something equally heinous that I cannot recall none of this makes any sense to me and the capper is them not believing 2 Ohio State neurologists about the fact they know with certainty she has MS.

That kind of denial is severe.

Not trying to scare you off of things, ODogg...but there are bad things not far down the road with these folks.

Wait, so their daughter is diagnosed with MS and they just deny the diagnosis? They do that to their own daughter?

Do the parents have a history or familiarity with MS? If so it would go a long way to explaining; but not excusing; some of the crazy behavior.

As we discussed, I have MS also. My teenage son finally asking if he was going to get MS too has been the absolute hardest moment of my having MS. If he is ever diagnosed, the guilt; before even starting on the basic feelings a parent feels for a "sick" child; will break me completely. That is fully understanding that any genetic links with MS are barely there statistically and "fault" for getting the disease yourself much less infecting someone else even less so.

They are looking for things to hold against you and the relationship any way. If now they have this heavy of a load of guilt, denial, or just flat out ignorance; in addition to an obvious over abundance of ignorance already; to compensate for then you will soon come to miss the refusal to accept. As Code Red angering as it is. Once they wake up and realize if they accept it they can unload that blame on you personally and the relationship as a whole then you just became Thypoid Mary and willfully inflicted this disease on their daughter.

You might have mentioned some of these things are happening already but I may be crossing up threads or even message boards.

Quite sad that your wife's parents won't donate. Are her parents anti Ohio State or anything?

Maybe the only explanation to this is they need neurologists from the University of Michigan to confirm.

Lol don't think so, they sent their kids to Ohio State. That's why you'd think they'd realize the doctors are top quality..
