Re: Operation Sports Hall of Fame
Any discussion of an OS HOF cannot be had without some analysis. It is critical that we examine every aspect of eligible posters performance as well as ensure the field is level. I mean, ya, BK has 50,000+ posts…but are they all natural or did he have 'some help' from caffeine to fuel those late night posting binges? Steve may have started OS, but what is his WARP (Wins above Replacement Poster)? TJ may have been the man back in the day, but we need to see his PPD+ (Post per day normalized so we can compare across posting eras).
If you're going to do it, do it right…none of this 'eye test' nonsense."People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring." - Rogers HornsbyComment

Operation Sports Hall of Fame
This would be tough. Some of us that have been around longer know the guys who used to post, but no longer do or not quite as much. Our list would be a lot different than the great new school of posters who haven't been around as long.
I'll just use myself for example. Back then, rules weren't as strict, I posted more and my posts were way more off the wall. There is no way I can really get by doing that anymore, plus the fact that my post rate isn't anything close to what it was back then. I check OS probably just as much, but I just don't post as frequently.Last edited by Brandwin; 01-25-2014, 09:55 PM.Comment

Re: Operation Sports Hall of Fame
Obviously Steve and probably Mill should be on there too. I can think of several others *Jmood, Matrix, Alt, The Letter Z, TJ* who should go in too. At least initially.Too Old To Game Club
Urban Meyer is lol.Comment

No one should ever get in unanimously, thus I will turn in a blank ballot.Comment
