    Re: The Dream Analyst

I'll preface this by saying yes...My dreams are insanely weird. (This clearly shows I watch too much tv.....Also,if you got nothing good to say bout this, I'd rather you not make fun of it)

Last night I dreamt I saved the life of one of my newest fave celebs(who IRL I just happened to like along with their co-star on their show, on Facebook yesterday). Me and my friends were at out old hangout and somehow befriended those 2. lol, why do I only seem to remember the weird dreams I ever have.

You remember the weird ones because they're weird. Same way you remember stuff during a day that's out of the ordinary, rather than the stuff that happens all the time.

Ya, similarly with real good dreams too. I remember those ones alot too which at times does suck if it ends up being a dream of something I wish would happen in real life, and then wake up being like "It was just a dream".

The worst thing I do before sleeping is probably being on my phone/tablet. Like I'll be on it until the minute before I want to fall asleep. I know that's a horrible thing to do with that light in your face, but can't help it at times. Only positive is that at least I'm in bed so I get somewhat relaxed beforehand.

              Re: The Dream Analyst

Here's one: First, I was in high school, the day was over and I went to the parking lot and couldnt find my vehicle (I've had several flash back dreams about not being able to find my car in the HS lot). My parents were on vacation in this dream, and I couldn't figure out a way to get home other than walking. So, I walked as far as I could get but then I was being chased by bears, like super mega monster bears! I climbed into a broken down bus but the bears climbed in behind me! I escaped and ran to my house, but it wasn't my house! I was hungry and had 50 cents in my pocket and tried to use a vending machine that was in the house but 50 cents wasn't enough. I was trying to tell people this was my house but it wasn't the house I remembered, I was asking anyone to help me figure out why this wasn't my house. Everyone was either ignoring me or scoffing at me. Then the bears broke in and I was running for my life again! I ran to a religious place, like a church or something, and I ran inside begging for help, but the biggest baddest bear broke in! Then the big bad bear transformed into a human, and he was a young Bill Murray! It also turned out that he was satan in disguise all this time and all the church patrons already knew! It wasn't just random people attending church, it was like several church authority figures, or maybe leaders of other religions. Young Bill Murray was dancing around and mocking me and I tried to run again... and that's when I finally woke up, my brain couldn't take it anymore apparently

I'm surprised I remember this much detail since it was last night, but I sent it to my friend and thought it would be a good time to post it here too

(please excuse the excessive exclamation points)

Lol that’s one hell of a dream man. Go from losing your car to getting chased by supernatural bears and one of them eventually turned into a young Bill Murray lmao.

I hate dreams like that though where nothing goes your way. It’s just one thing happening after another. Though it’s usually a huge sigh of relief when you wake up.

Yep I have a tendency for the "nothing goes my way" dream and the sigh of relief upon awakening is huge. Then there's also the "got a great job" dream when waking up is heartbreaking

At least this dream makes somewhat sense.

A week or two ago I noticed some planes were flying so low. Low enough that you could make our which airlines it was from the ground.

So last night I ended up having a dream about an exaggerated version of this. Every few minutes there would be a huge plane flying so low to the ground, almost right above buildings, and like in real life, you could tell exactly which airlines it was. Don't know the significance of that at all lol.

Lol, this Lebron saga is carrying over to my dreams.

I randomly dreamt that Lebron was texting me like we were friends, and said he couldn't make it to some meeting(which I ended up skipping because "what's the point of going if Lebron isn't? This whole offseason revolves around him. If he's not showing, there's nothing that'll be accomplished") because he was injured. He said Steph Curry was making fun of him for getting injured again lol.

Sometime after that, I saw a bunch of the Warriors walking down the road all in suits.

                      Lebron to Warriors confirmed lol.

                          Re: The Dream Analyst

I'm watching Inside Out right now, and there is a "dream sequence" moment thing where they cue having the girl's teeth fall out as a part of the dream. I Googled that, and apparently that's an actual dream that people have.

A common dream interpretation for teeth falling out sees this symbol as a representation of the fear of aging or becoming less efficient or productive. In other words, it would point to the loss of your means to fully bite into life, to break down what life brings you.

I've felt the bold before, especially now that I'm thirty years old (it's not an old age, but I'm falling out of my prime). Never had the teeth falling out thing before though.

Teeth falling out and being late/unprepared are the two most common themes for me.

                                Re: The Dream Analyst

Last night I just had a dream where, during a moment, another "character" knew more about something than I did. I even had to Google it to make sure it was right.

I was a witness to a bus breakdown that a former student of mine was on, and I guess I had to report it to admin. When I entered the room they were on walkie so they must've gotten the information. As I walked in, the dean said: "Let me guess, she finally overtook the T-1000?" I sat there thinking to myself: "Buses have model types, and I should be aware of them? Also, how could a student overtake a bus?" I didn't understand, and he clarified by saying something about how we call that bus driver 'The Terminator' or something stupid. Don't make much out of the dream, dreams are weird.

However, I had to Google it this morning to make sure that was the model name of the Terminator to begin with. I've seen the first two movies (and I think Salvation), but really not in a long time at all. It's specific information like that which I definitely wouldn't stick around to recall, based on the amount of time it's been since I've seen it. I know some people are asking how that's possible given it's popularity and yada-yada, but to me that's like asking: "Well, do you remember the 6-digit number combination to the safe in Inception? Because I do, how can you not? It's brought up at least four times in the film."

And again, that's besides the point. The question is how did somebody else in my dream know something before my dream self knew something, even if I know it somewhere in the recess of my mind?
