Yep, that's what I feel at home... It's weird living in the basement at home and working the night shift. I feel detached from the real world, and I feel like I'm losing connections with my old buddies in college because of my different schedule. I don't mind working the night shift at my hospital because it's a little quieter and I make more money (which speeds up that $ process), but it's something I've yet to find my groove in.
I'm moving out of the basement and into my old bedroom (where my older brother lives right now) some time this week, so maybe that'll make me feel more "at home" and not just "in the basement", if you know what I mean. I think if I were to live home for the time being, I'd rather feel like I'm really home than to feel like I'm in a basement trying to convince myself that I have my own space when I really don't.
