What the hell ? Driving lessons ? You don't have any friends that have cars that you can simply practice in for free ?

Don't drive ever. It's horrible. I'm only half serious.

      Really though...

Did get some good news in that I'm getting more than what I expected for my car and I should have a new one next week. RIP Focus

Ha. In fairness, this one wasn't my fault. I think I have to pass on the stick shift I was looking at, though. I'm already worried about getting in another accident, so I'd rather not have the thought of blowing out my transmission in my head as well...too stressful. My grandfather owns a car lot, so hopefully he can find something similar in automatic.

It's so hard to blow a transmission in a manual, why worry about it? You'll grind your fair share of gears but it makes you an aware driver. I believe that's why it's safer to be in one.

And to be honest how can you go in this life without driving a muscle car or a turbo with a stick. **** is so fun!

I always said if I won the lottery, I'd pay extra to get the car custom fitted with an automatic transmission

Idk...it just freaks me out the more I think about it.

Damn near every muscle car and sports car now come in automatic or E-shift paddles. Even the new Hellcat is an 8 speed automatic.

While tech maybe changing with cars, my kids won't go through life not knowing how to drive a manual transmission. I have two cars that are manual and chances are they'll be using them for transportation sometime down the road.

For some reason I started wondering about this now:

Is there any sort of significance/meaning of having a full moon on your birthday? I know at some point in time, there'd be at least 1 full moon on your birthday(I think it's something like once every 15-20 years maybe?), but has anyone ever heard any sort of good or bad luck stories/superstitions about it or anything like that?

Cause somehow I can just imagine that somewhere, there's some sort of superstition about full moon on someones birthday meaning a sign of good luck or bad luck for that person for that year or something.

Manuals are typically cheaper. Plus, it makes driving even a crap car somewhat fun.

I have noticed they're cheaper, which is sort of enticing. It's just like, I'm spending a lot of money on something that one wrong shift could ruin, and then I'm right back where I am now.

Once you learn it you learn it for good. Like riding a bike. You don't just shift into a wrong gear when you know what your doing
