Not really because South Park is a satire. Completely different than what Fallon does. A better comparison would be a lot of the jokes on Family Guy. Playing on nostalgia. Not saying Fallon isn't funny sometimes, but it's not very original. It gets the viewers they need for The Tonight Show though, which Conan unfortunately couldn't draw.

Satire or not, I was just pointing out that it requires pre-existing things as the entire crux.

I don't like Family Guy, and not a big fan of Fallon either, but I don't think it's completely fair to say that they are that different when boiled down to what it is.

I don't like Family Guy, and not a big fan of Fallon either, but I don't think it's completely fair to say that they are that different when boiled down to what it is.

I still think its satire only Simpsons and South Park do a far better job of being more subtle about it. Family Guy is definitely a good comparison to make with Fallon.

I still think the video is hilarious, but that's primarily due to Jack Black.

Fallon's Tonight Show isn't funny period. I haven't watched more than three seconds of it.

At one point I liked Kellerman, but he's pretty much a joke at this point for being on that show for so long. Marcellus is over-the-top and just plain dumb. I feel like 90% of the show is him reacting to viral videos with, "oh damn, that fool got jacked up!"

Oh, and the live audience reactions make everything feel contrived and stupid. They react to everything with, "OOOHHHHH!!!"
