I'm hoping I got the genes on my dad's side. He didn't start turning gray until his mid-40's and his father never really lost any hair. Still had almost a full head of hair when he died in his 70's. I think my uncle on his side wasn't even gray in his late 40's last time I saw him about 10 years ago.Comment

Not to get too political, but I think people in the black community feel it's at best bizarre, and at worst condescending/offensive, for a woman to change up her hair and tan her skin and act like she knows first-hand the struggles of being a minority in America. Wouldn't be as big of a deal if she wasn't an NAACP president, obviously.Comment
