Don't listen to anything anyone else has said. The real answer is do everything that Sheldon Richardson did.Originally posted by ThatKidNamedTaeOriginally posted by BlueNGoldI feel weird for liking a post about exposed penises.

 Re: Off Topic 2015

My driving test was a joke. They had a little driving circle in the back behind the Publix and it was pretty much driving in a circle, turning, stop signs, and reverses. I only got dinged for not using my turn signal when turning into the parking spot which I'm pretty I've never actually done ever since.

I've never Parallel Parked in my life and hopefully I keep it that way

 Re: Off Topic 2015

I failed my first driving test on some straight up bull****. I had passed everything with flying colors and just had to pull over into the parking lot to finish. Pulled into a spot with a pole in it, and rather than just stopping and being done, I decided to inch up a little further and just *barely* tapped the pole. It was so close she had to get out to see if it was actually touching. Failed right there because it was a "dangerous action." **** me.Comment

I'll presume you're 15/16 years old? Crazy how long ago that was for me [cue the old jokes].Originally posted by ThatKidNamedTaeGoing to the DMV tomorrow to take the written exam for a drivers permit. I've been taking some practice tests on the specific chapters (so far, intersections,parking/standing signs and emergency decisions/situations), and overall it seems like these tests are just common sense. But I'm off to study for the rest of the night

My first car was a GRANDMA gold 1998 Chevy Lumina with a side mirror missing on the passenger side and wheel bearings that were so off I had to turn the wheel 5 degrees to the left to go straight. Durable car though - I put about 50K on it and I got it when it had 140K.

Anyways, when I took the driving test...I was so nervous when I turned the vehicle on I mashed the gas instead of the break so I revved the engine. I was "smooth" enough to act like it was a joke to the instructor. Originally posted by Gibson88Anyone who asked for an ETA is not being Master of their Domain. It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.Comment

Car was a piece of ****, but for being a broke college student when gas prices were flirting with the 3.50/gallon mark, it did the job.And may thy spirit live in us, Forever LSU

Just the first in a long line of fees you'll wonder about. Just wait until you get your first car and pay for the license plates...Originally posted by ThatKidNamedTaeAnd is it just me or does $85.75 sound like a bit much for a permit? LolComment

My first car was a 1974 Pontiac Catalina. Thing was a solid metal tank.

That's a lot when I went like 5 years ago it was like 30 or so in MA, I think.Originally posted by ThatKidNamedTaeYeah I'm 16.

Anyways, I just left the dmv and I passed the test. It was pretty easy. They just gave me a piece of paper with my info on it as the permit but said the one with my picture and stuff should come in about 2 weeks.

 Re: Off Topic 2015

 Annoyed.

Best friend's bachelor party was scheduled and booked for September 3-6 which was ideal because it was Labor Day Weekend and we'd come back and have a day off on the 7th. But because his fiancee's cousins and friends and all that won't be able to make it, he's pushing it back to September 10-13 and we can't even go in October like ORIGINALLY bantered about because of his work.

Horrible. So now because he needs to invite and have those guys with us too, we go from a small and tight 6 guys to like 15 guys, we have to change our bookings, lose that extra cool-down day off, fly on and party over 9/11 weekend, *AND* miss Week 1 of football since that Sunday coming back will basically be a loss with checking out and going to the airport and all that crap.

 Ugh. ****ing' obligations. So annoying.Last edited by TheMatrix31; 07-31-2015, 05:25 PM.Comment
