Does anybody have any recommendations for a good external HDD? Looking at either 1TB or 2TB.

I have these two in my sights, but wasn't sure what else was out there:

I have a couple of the WD Passport drives. Haven't had any issues.

Have had a couple cheap *** Toshiba canvios (sp?) that work fantastic for my XB1.

My WD is still running strong for my PC. I have a 5TB Seagate for my Xbox that has worked well so far too.

I don't believe a word of the Amazon stuff.

Sick of all these think/feel pieces telling us how we should feel about things and people and companies.

If it was that bad, nobody would work for Amazon and the company would have been dead years ago.

If it was that bad, nobody would work for Amazon and the company would have been dead years ago.

I've worked there and know people that have worked there. As with most pieces like this, it's certainly exaggerated to some extent but a lot of it is true. It's not a great place to work if you value your free time. But lots of employees will tolerate it because they do pay pretty well most of the time and you do gain lots of valuable experience quickly.

In reality, the culture they describe in that piece is not really exclusive to Amazon and can apply to many tech companies.

Yup. I had a phone interview with them and my aunt and uncle are close with one of the higher-ups in HR there (how I got the interview) and I never, not once have heard anything like what's described in these propaganda pieces.

I'm sure they work you hard. It's Amazon.
