                                        Uhhh, Central and Mountain are the best time zones. Sports start early enough that you're easily home from work (Sorry Pacific, 4 PM for eastern games is nice, but not always convenient) and west coast games aren't usually finished tomorrow.

                                                To be fair,the media does have alot to do with that. Supposedly ESPN barely bothers to report on hockey during their highlights? I know ESPN doesn't air hockey,but they should at least be showing the highlights like they would NBA,NFL,MLB. Even now,you hear more NFL talk during offseason when nothing is happening, than NHL talk during stanley cup playoffs.

                                                Maybe this should go in uncommon opinions thread but...(just my opinion,read/bash as you wish)

                                                    ESPN doesn't really show highlights in any sport. Maybe courtroom highlights? It's mostly just a bunch of heads floating around talking over each other

                                                        Is it not fair to blame Bettman more for not marketing the league and its players more? I don't recall the last time I saw a commercial for hockey and I only watch sports primarily...putting it on a second tier channel (NBC Sports) is such an injustice.

                                                            I used to love Hockey and watch it all the time but after the hold out they had I just stopped.

                                                            Used to live watching Nascar when Dale Earnhardt Senior was around but the race he died in was the last race I ever watched.
