**** Fall Out Boy. They make some of the most annoying songs. That Centuries song or Light Em Up for example. I guess it doesn't help that I hear them at work all the time, but still.

I will say Sugar, We're Going Down is pretty great now though after I originally hated it when it first came out.

Stephen Colbert is so funny; I wish it'd be at 11am rather than 11:30am EST.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

They used The Walker last year didn't they? I wouldn't call it annoying. Catchy, but not annoying.

Just Googled and yep, incredibly annoying for me.

I wish they'd just stick to network coverage theme songs. I enjoy those way more.

Atreyu's album is pretty good. It sounds a lot like their older stuff in the early 2000's combined with the best of the later decade. I like all of their albums, though.. I purchased it without hesitation.

Couldn't care less for the other two, though.. just never really been a fan.

There are some bands that I'll always buy their albums without thinking about. When the latest Lamb of God album dropped I didn't even hesitate.

Too many great bands playing near my house, and I'm still trying to buy a ticket to see Deftones and QOTSA.

I can't afford another ticket, but i really want to see Mastodon too.

How come we don't call cow meat "cow"? I mean chicken meat is chicken, turkey meat is turkey, but if I go to the store I see ground chicken, ground turkey, ground beef. Why not ground cow?

Also gives a nice little word history.

[Middle English, from Old French buef, from Latin bōs, bov-; see gwou- in Indo-European roots.]
Word History: As has often been remarked, the great social disparities of medieval European society are revealed by the Modern English words for different sorts of meat. In medieval England, meats like beef, pork, veal, and mutton were presumably more often eaten by the educated and wealthy classes—most of whom could speak French or at least admired French culture—and the Modern English terms for these meats are uniformly of French origin. (The French sources of the English words are now spelled bœuf, porc, veau, and mouton, and the French words can refer both to the animal and to the meat it provides.) The English-speaking peasants who actually raised the animals—and who presumably subsisted on mostly vegetarian fare—continued to use the original Germanic words ox, swine, calf, and sheep when talking in the barnyard, and so the animals themselves have kept their native names to this day. One such Germanic word is actually related etymologically to its French counterpart. Cow comes from Old English cū, which is descended from the Indo-European root *gwou-, "cow." This root has descendants in most of the branches of the Indo-European language family. Among those descendants is the Latin word bōs, "cow," whose stem form, bov-, eventually became the Old French word buef, the source of English beef.
Like "beef" pork is also ultimately derived from the Latin word for pig "porcum" I guess
