    Re: Off Topic 2015

Guys, there's this song. I think it's an older song that I've heard on TV and even in some movies. Also, I hear it a lot in sports arenas. Hopefully I can describe it so you can tell me what it is. I think they pick up in the middle of the song and it's like two drums and a clap. Like bum-bum-tsh bum-bum-tsh over again. Then they sing something like "We will, we will, rock you!" over the drums and claps. Then the singer goes "alright" and there's a cool guitar solo over the drums and claps that's like "mana-wa-wa-wa-wa-wa-waaaaa mrew mrew mana-wreeew-wrew-wrew-wrew-wrew-wrew-wrew-wa-wa"

I want to say the band's name is like royalty or something. I thought it was Prince, but no, I know him. He sings that song that's like "and your mi-ni-ni-ni-ni-ni-ni-ni-ni kiss". And this guy doesn't have that same voice.

    Any help?

Definitely Prince, but also might be Queens of the Stone Age.

      Or Kings of Leon.

I was thinking Kings of Leon too, but I think I've heard the song before when I was a kid. But it might be a different song, I'm not sure.

            LOL

I actually might know what Maj is talking about... but I don't know the artist, song name, or can even recall anything about the commercial.

            I'm useless.

                  Re: Off Topic 2015

We just got two new hires recently in our department and I've been the one training them for the most part. The first lady I trained is doing well, but the second guy is a little difficult and I had a situation today that I'm not sure how to handle. The whole week he's just seemed really disinterested and can be a little off-putting at times. Like today for example I said good morning and his response was "whatever". He's been shadowing me in my cubicle just watching what I do and getting familiar with our work, and today he fell asleep in his chair. I kept noticing him nodding off in the corner of my eye but he'd pick his head up whenever I looked over.

The first person I trained was awesome and complementary of my help and was always asking questions and staying engaged with whatever I was showing her, but this dude isn't saying a word. I'm really bad at small talk/talking to people I don't know which I'm sure is part of it, but I try to make it a point to tell them as much as I can to ask me about something they don't quite get, but dude always says he gets it and moves on. I have no idea what to do

I'm with Tim...say something or you'll regret it later.

I've learned that lackluster employees excel at getting others to do their own work. It's amazing to watch how they can deflect work.

Falling asleep on the job during your training ? Yeah for me that would be an automatic fire or at the very least chew him out. I have zero tolerance for lazy co-workers.

Yeah, in most cases I'd never snitch to my supervisor about anything, but this guy is too much. Constantly trashing his old job, just complete "here only because they give you money every 2 weeks" attitude. After that post I sent, he made a comment that watching me do this was like watching paint dry, so yeah **** this dude.

Ahh, good old Brainy! Hilarious on Hey Arnold, definitely would be annoying as hell in real life.
