Maybe I'm using the wrong term, but what I meant was for what you have with you in a local proximity, you kind of "take what you can get."

To who in may concern.


Some people(for example) have small children that just do things b/c they are children, like putting something in the basket that mommy and daddy didn't want and finding out in the checkout line, meanwhile the little one has to go potty b/c she didn't have to go when u asked just before you left the house so whats a mom or dad 2 do....Its crunch time, do I walk all the way back to the back of the store to put back the generic fruit roll ups(the real ones would have been nice but no....)while risking a potential meltdown/potty accident while probably not getting what I came into the store in the first place?

Or do I grab the item, dump it anywhere quick such as to the cashier, or go back cart, or just put on a shelf of something in an effort to get the hell outta there asap. What to do.... I have done all the above. I don't care either.



I don't tell the store manager their store has lazy POS employees, even when they are less than helpful, don't know where items are, or are just plain incompetent.. Then again, its just a grocery store and I frequent them often.


Besides, by placing the items not where they belong I am giving the opportunity for somebody to remain employed or even offer up a new position.

The customer while some might really be potential POS, they are always right.

Had to get one a few weeks ago in order to volunteer at one of Pitt's hospitals. Got it in my left delt which was then a bit achy that evening. Incidentally, I just saw story that one of my local news stations tweeted about a UPMC employee fearing for her job because she refuses to get the vaccine because she "doesn't believe its effective" which doesn't seem like a very good excuse. Even if you don't think it does any good, getting one is little more than a minor inconvenience.

I'm an EMT, so when I found it it was free under my insurance, I quickly went and got one.

It's not like this is polio or hepatitis. It's a flu shot. I've never had the flu and never had a flu shot. I get why they would want someone to get that in her situation, but I wouldn't be happy if someone told me I had to get something done that is optional that if anything, could make me sick, whether it does or not. Hell, I haven't even had a cold in nearly 5 years.

My over/under on getting sick (fever, vomiting, etc.) per year is 1.

Currently, I'm at zero.

I never fear anybody sick around me or coughing as the worst I get is a sore throat or runny nose for a few days. That said, I do get a sore throat more than others during the year...I've found that since I've been drinking warm water versus ice cold, it's helped a lot more.

If I'm around anyone sick I automatically get sick. Even if the person is barely showing any symptoms, I'll get the sickness full force, they'll be better after a day and I'm on IR for 2 weeks

Just went and rewatched the NBA Elite Video when Jesus Bynum was discovered.

Still by far, the funniest video I have ever seen. It gets tears of laughter from me every single time.

I never fear anybody sick around me or coughing as the worst I get is a sore throat or runny nose for a few days. That said, I do get a sore throat more than others during the year...I've found that since I've been drinking warm water versus ice cold, it's helped a lot more.

The last time I called out sick was Spring 2014 for allergies. They hit me something fierce in the Spring and I typically have to get an inhaler and some steroids.
