A guy at my work didn't show up today and when my boss called him to see what was up the guy told him "It's Sunday, I don't work Sundays." My boss just laughed and said no man it's Monday you're supposed to be here. The guy then tells my boss he's crazy and says he knows it's Sunday because he got his kids yesterday and he gets his kids every Saturday. Then said again he doesn't work Sunday's and hung up. Lol.. What....

He must have forgot to drop his kids off at school then. Kids all got a father like...

I haven't cleaned my ears since my parents did it to me as a kid (nearly 20 years). For multiple reasons, I decided to finally get something as a do-it-yourself kit and clean them out today.

So, I got something like the above. I filled a cup with warm water and hydrogen peroxide and pulled the trigger on this reverse-vacuum into my ear 2-3 times....

...I don't feel like I hear any differently.

I've had some ear issues the past 10-15 years and I don't really believe that stuff helps. Personally I prefer an ototek loop, the peroxide stuff tickles but doesn't really seem to do anything. It's probably a case by case situation but that's what helps me. Well, plus I learned to stop blowing my nose forcefully, it can force liquid into the eustachian tubes which gave me the clogging problems, but as far as wax removal is concerned the ototek works great

edit: if your ears were already clear in the first place it would make sense to have no change in your hearing

It's like a narrow plastic q-tip, except instead of forcing wax deeper toward the eardrum you use the tiny loop at the end to pull back out of your canal and clear out the junk inside. Comes with handy plastic guard so you don't push it too deep

I use Q tips which you really aren't supposed to use but I've never used that ear thing, whatever it's called.

Yeah, screw that warning. I can't leave the bathroom after a shower without clearing out my ears with Q-tips.

Q-tips are the worst; whoever invented them as an ear-cleaning device pulled off the greatest scam on the American public since one hour Martinizing.

I just use one of those bulbs and flush my ears with warm water after I shower. Used to have constant ear wax problems; two years using the bulb, no problems.
