Unfortunately, it's outdated now. They no longer play at Nassau Coliseum.
That was probably the coolest "Easter egg" of all the logos.NHL - Philadelphia Flyers
NFL - Buffalo Bills
MLB - Cincinnati Reds

Just found this thread and saw the Washington Nationals/Walgreens discussion. For the sake of clarity, the Nats borrowed that W from the Washington Senators.

Re: Things that took you way too long to realize....
I never realized until a few days ago that Friends has been remastered for HD/full screen. I know many 4:3 shows get stretched or zoomed in to fit a regular tv screen, but Friends is actually full screen. No zooming in or stretching the screen. They cropped it or something like that when filming to get it to the 4:3 format, but they have the wideout shot available to use on TV.

I haven't read the entire thread, so forgive me if some of these have been mentioned before
- The arrow in the FedEx logo
- The LG logo is an L and a G
- The people eating chips in the Tostitos logo
- That the NBC logo is actually a peacock
- That the Baskin Robbins logo makes a '31' in itEagles | Phillies | Sixers | Flyers

Re: Things that took you way too long to realize....
I expect that people not only don't know this bit, but also that you might not have paid attention to the fact either. I learned about five years ago watching the Sinister commentary track, and when watching Get Out it reminded me of it. Try and notice this the next time you see a film...
You know when they show film production company logos at the beginning of the film? Ones that include people's names in them cannot show their names if the director's name isn't billed in the opening credits of the film.
For example, Blumhose Productions are the production company for Sinister and Get Out. In Sinister, because director Scott Derrickson's name does not appear in any opening credits (actually, there aren't any opening credits at all), it shows up in the logo intro as "BH Productions." See video below:

However, Get Out you do see it say "Blumhouse Productions" in the logo intro...

... which only meant one thing as I was watching the film: in the opening credits, I fully expected them to show Jordan Peele's name. Low and behold, they did twice. Early on it said "A Jordan Peele film" or something like that, then at the end of the opening credits it said: "Directed by Jordan Peele."
Just a nice little bit of information for ya'll. I don't know all of the particulars behind this (for example, I think distribution companies can still keep their names), but that's what Derrickson said in the Sinister commentary, so I'll just go with it.
What I want to know is how much they have to pay for a film to not play the actual sound/music during the beginning of the film. Say, instead of the Universal logo sound that we all know, for the Bourne movies they do that film's main score in place of it.Last edited by Blzer; 03-13-2017, 06:52 PM.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment
