    Merry Christmas guys.

Girlfriend loves the Wii U. We played two games of Mario Party last night and had a blast. Can't wait to break it in some more and get games in with her family. She thought I was crazy for getting it but she loves it.

Not sure on the specifics, but we laid texas toast on the bottom, put 2-3 eggs on top, and put portions of cinnamon rolls on top

She goes downstairs and has a missed call from the hospital saying they can cancel her today but need to hear back from her. Unfortunately, she got the message too late. They said they could only wait a few minutes before moving on to someone else and that she still has to come in. She came back upstairs super upset and it was awful. Guess I have to stick with the original plan of filming my children opening their gifts.

It was already crappy that she has to work in the first place and I understand holidays are just another day in the medical profession, but it really would have been nice if she got that phone call in time.

My wife is a nurse as well, and she is working 16 hours today. 7am to 11pm. It sucks, but its nice money.

                        Re: Christmas 2015

Full Moon today which was cool to see. First Christmas full moon since the 70s,and last one for 19 years. Usually when things like this happen, it's all cloudy so I can never see anything. This year for a change,it wasn't cloudy at all so I could actually see it.

Past 2 days have been nice. Past 3 years of December 24-26th have all been so much different from each other. Tomorrow is final day of "Christmas days"(counting December 26th as part of it since it's a holiday for people here).

Hoping it goes alright. Every year, family gets bigger and bigger with people getting engaged/married,having kids, and so on, so it's more and more people each time. Which is harder to do when the houses themselves aren't fit to hold so many people.

The awkward dinner eating at either a cramped up table with so many people at them, or sitting on a couch with nowhere to rest any plate or cup lol.

Just really hope conversation topics don't go in direction I don't want it to go. I just wanna be there to see everyone and have fun, not getting into some serious/deep types of (work/religion/politics) conversations, for big part of the X hours I'll be there, especially being put on the spot like that, infront of everyone.

Depending who is hosting the party and how comfortable you are in their house (meaning, feeling free to roam around) - just walk away and step outside for a few minutes if you feel the conversation turning stupid. It can be a balancing act to avoid the crap, but it's possible. I've been doing it most of my life.

I had more conversations than usual to dodge this year, but my parents were hosting at their house so I was able to just step out when I wanted without it seeming like I was ditching the party too much. Half the people were stepping out for smoke breaks anyway, so as long as I avoided direct cigarette smoke I was good.

I did have some good conversation with cousins and my sister-in-law, so it wasn't all bad.

Christmas always surprises me as an adult. I never expect anything. Like, I know I'm getting things for family but I never think, "Hey they're going to get me something too." So I end up with a bunch of gifts I wasn't expecting and it's always very nice.

Funny story to relay: so my in-law's know I'm a weirdo and like sports teams seemingly from random cities (Philly, Cincy, and Buffalo) but I guess they mix them up so this year I got a Chicago Cubs hat and a Cincinnati Bengals ornament. A+ for effort. I grinned and thanked them. The Cubs hat totally uses the Reds logo but it's a blue hat. I've gotten Phillies and Eagles stuff in the past.

First Christmas traveling I've ever had but it was a nice change. We can't wait to host our own Christmas.

Hope OS had a Merry Christmas!

Can't roam around. They're only using 2-3 rooms in the house and thats it,so not much room to go anywhere. Its an open floor for most part,so even going to another room, still like being in the one you leave since its all open and connected.

It used to be easier at diff houses cause some had a basement where the "kids" went to play/talk,but now everyones older, less playing, more talking, and in a smaller location.

Doesn't help when having some family who are "straight shooters", who will just call someone out on anything, has to get their opinions about the moment heard to everyone, and makes things so awkward for that person

Lol,family at Christmastime. Sometimes i wish we see each other more often, but other times i think.."At least this is only once a year"

Had an awesome Christmas and I can't imagine how amazing it's going to be next year when we have a child. Looking forward to meeting her in February.

My niece cried yesterday when she got a gift from Santa. My sister asked what was wrong and she said, she was just so happy that Santa was kind enough to give her a unicorn! Too cute, the magic of Christmas is amazing at this age...and the damn unicorn moves and makes noises and kicks it's front leg. Cool stuff.

It was a great day yesterday, but when did Christmas becoming so exhausting. I was wiped by 10 and fast asleep just after midnight. As a kids I could not stop, must have been the constant consumption of candies that fuelled me.

I hope everyone had a great day.

Also, my BB-8 droid is incredible. Too much fun and no 42 yearold should enjoy toys this much!

                                Merry Christmas
