You the real MVP. UNREAL. Looks so good! We always fix a big breakfast casserole. Eggs, bacon, sausage, cheese, etc. Next year, we add the french toast casserole as well. LOL

Saw Star Wars the first time at Bridgestreet. Went last night to the theater behind what's left of Madison Square mall. They've renovated that theater. It's way nicer than it was the last time I went. They've got full reclining leather seats now for the whole theater.

Just a heads up if you want to avoid Bridgestreet.

          Re: Christmas 2015

Thankfully the Christmas family stuff went well. Much better than i thought. Nobody brought up any of usual conversations. A bigger benefit of having little kids around. This ended up being one of the "i wish this happened more often" moments. Seeing family just once or twice a year isnt enough for me,as long as its fun and interesting, which is more likely to be the case with little kids running around.

Now i hate that its over. Dont do big new years celebrations,so Christmastime is only big thing for me. Now "back to reality",which i dont mind, but thats bittersweet thing about this time of year for me. Look forward to it so much, have fun during it,then miss it once its over. The 'missing feeling' lasts till early January usually, before i mentally adjust back from " holiday mode"

Overall from past few days(24-26), my best Christmas since at least 2011.

For me, nothing really special about new years. Even when i used to get 2 weeks off for Christmas break, i always hated the break time after new years, there's not as much to see or do then compared to before Christmas.

It used to be special when i was little, cause it was the 1 day of year i got to stay up real late. But ever since i got older, there's no difference on new years night compared to most others.

                      Re: Christmas 2015

I decided early on to enjoy everything about the holidays and do my best to make it a good time for everyone. I bought everybody I knew a gift and took the time to buy it...even bought myself a little $450 toy too.

                      Spoiler

Looking back, I had the best Christmas in probably 10 years.

Took the last two weeks of the year off so I didn't have to stress about work; my sisters behaved so no drama; got to watch all the kids open their presents and scream at the toys. Every single minute of it was so enjoyable and fun...

I hope that I don't look back at it next year and see somebody missing but I can certainly say it will be a time I won't forget.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

                        Speedy,

I love what you did with Christmas this year. Taking the time to buy gifts for people in my family is one of my favourite things to do, especially for the kids. They get so excited. My brother in law is in his last year of college, so we bought him a PS4 for Christmas, damn near made a grown man cry...it was so worth it. My nieces and nephews were over the moon happy with their gifts. My oldest niece is almost a teenager, so her gifts are harder to figure out. She's into make-up design and is artistic so we got her a stool that goes up and down to practice make up on her friends with. Plus we got her a make-up colouring book and one of those wicked adult colouring books to help her work on her shading and lines.

I spoiled my wife and she returned the favour. I got the remote SPHERO BB-8 droid, the new iPad Pro (thing is HUGE!), a SENSI Blue Jay hat sent burner, a Pro Tour Taylor Made golf bag with my name and number (24) on it, a dozen Pro V golf balls, and a calendar with my Griffey shoes for each month and the stories behind each pair.

Then I ordered the iPad pro pen and iPad pro keyboard...I had to.

That all aside and the countless other gifts I got, my favourite one was a Christmas ornament my grandmother brought over from England when she was a kid before the Great Depression. I damn near cried, it had me choke up. It was a great Christmas moment for me.

Only 362 days until Christmas. The Leap year is making the wait 1 day longer.

Happy Orthodox (Little) Christmas to all those that celebrate tonight and tomorrow. If I didn't put up our trees on November 1st, I would celebrate with you all tonight...but that won't happen untill I decorate on December 1st. Well, that's what my wife says...she's not the boss of me!

Who am I kidding, she's the boss.
