Re: Christmas 2015
I'll never be able to watch that movie without thinking how creepy that girl is on the train when she's first introduced. She just stares at the guy for the entire scene. Doesn't say one word to him. Stalker.Comment

My favorite Christmas tradition is on Christmas Eve, after everyone has gone to sleep, I pop in Christmas Vacation and enjoy it with a nice bottle of Jack.Comment

Re: Christmas 2015
I may put up the Christmas decorations next weekend. I have to travel quite a bit during December, so if I don't do it now, it'll hardly seem worth it.
Tonight my local Botanical Gardens is opening up the Galaxy of Lights thing they do every year to walk or drive through. Tonight is a walking night that I can take my dogs to, so I'll probably do that and see if it gets me all geared up for Christmas and get me to decorate the house. I do find it silly that the gardens are charging me an extra $1 per dog I bring. Do dogs really need to be charged to walk around an outside garden?Comment

Re: Christmas 2015
Don't they do another dog night later in the season? I remember going after Thanksgiving last year. My dog hurt his paw, so going tonight isn't the best idea.
Christmas has been kind of meh for me and my family the last few years. Lots of gift cards, no real spirit. But my brother had a baby over the summer and he and his family are coming down this year. So I'm optimistic this is going to be the best Christmas in awhile.Comment

Star Wars begins my Christmas vacation. Tickets for the 7:00 show on the 17th and then no more work until the 27th.

Re: Christmas 2015
Well don't see it at Bridgestreet. I hadn't been in that theatre in about 6 months and went Sunday to see the Martian. The place is terrible now and pretty nasty. I think they have a new theatre close to you in Madison behind the Publix on 72Comment

Re: Christmas 2015
I haven't had many issues at Bridge Street. It's probably been 3 months since I saw a movie there but the reserved seating gives it a lot of slack with me. I'm going to see the Hunger Games there this weekend, I'll see if I notice a downfall in the theater.

Re: Christmas 2015
Yeah that new one behind Publix will be less than 5 minutes from my house, looking forward to them finishing that one. I am seeing Star Wars at Bridge Street because of the reserved seating (back row center!). I'm not going to get to a theater early to find a good spot like I did for the prequels.

Here are some photos of my upstair living room and hallway. My wife decorated the upstairs, so it's more classy then the basement. I like tacky stuff!
Some pictures of my man cave.

You've got a ton of Christmas stuff, Mike.Originally posted by Gibson88Anyone who asked for an ETA is not being Master of their Domain.
It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.Comment

Re: Christmas 2015
We also have one and I also notice we have the exact same musical dog in your last picture.
We finally got all our decorations up, tree is standing but not yet decorated. It will be interesting to see how our kittens will react to all this. This will be their first Xmas. One of the kittens have already scaled the wall and was dangling off one of the advent calanders and pulled one of the bells off the tassel.Comment
