Need ideas for my dad. He is the hardest person to buy for every year. Lol. Partly because you try to get him to say what he would like only for him to reply, "You know what you can do for my Christmas gift, use the money you would spend on me and use it for yourself." Lol.

He is an avid outdoor guy, Hunting, fishing, etc. My bro and I usually just get him no scent spray for hunting or a couple of lures but I like to get him something different this year. The biggest stuff we (My brother and I) have got him before is a tactical scope for his AR, Hunting scope for his hunting rifle, pair of nice binoculars and the last thing was an Jersey of his Favorite Vikings ever: Robert Smith.

Had to change the plans for the elf last night. Ended up getting a nasty stomach bug so I had my wife just do something simple with it. Will post a pic later.

Hopefully tonight I can create the snowball fight scene.

Nice one! My son has all those Daniel Tiger toys. Hard to come by in Canada. Had to pay the earth on Ebay when they first came out.

I wish I took a pic of our Elf on the shelf from yesterday. I taped playing cards to his hands and he was playing poker at the kitchen table with Woody, Jessie and Buzz Lightyear.

I knocked out my wife's Christmas shopping yesterday at work. We decided to go light on Christmas this year so I used a method of gift giving that I heard my sister talking about doing for her kids when I was home for Thanksgiving. It's the WANT-NEED-WEAR-READ method. You just give one of each of those things.

For Want My wife loves puzzles and custom/homemade things so I got her a Personalized Photo Puzzle off of Etsy. I used an instagram photo of hers that had a collage of us and our dogs after we returned from vacation. I'm pretty sure she's going to love that one.

For Need I bought her a a bath basket from Lush which she loves (and was out of).

For Wear I also went with Etsy and bought her a peacoat and beanie that I thought went pretty well together. It's really two presents in one, but YOLO.

For Read I got a book of off Amazon called "A Dog's Purpose". I read reviews and I'm hoping that it isn't too sad since she just lost her dog of 14 years last year. Hopefully, it will be more heartwarming than anything, but there are some who think that it's too sad... Only time will tell here.

All and all I went 7 dollars over budget, so not too bad. I still have my parents and then I'm done with Christmas shopping for the year.

Last night, her elf found her Doc Mcstuffin's medical kit and was checking out one of her stuffed animals. My daughter initially thought her elf brought her a new toy but realized it was already hers. Lol
