Got robbed at Gun point in Niagara Falls this morning. Fought em for a minute but I got my clock rung pretty good so my friend and I waved the white flag. They got my phone and my wallet with about $200, after they ran we followed them and as luck would have it, a Niagara Falls police officer was driving by and I flagged him down. After a quick search they got the suspects, the weapon, our stuff, and I was able to make a positive ID on them.

The gun, which I thought was fake at the time, was actually a sawed off bolt action 20G shotgun which was loaded. Next time I'll just give them my ****.

Glad to hear you're alright, you got your belongings back, and justice was served!

If you want my opinion, possessions of extrinsic value are always worth trading for your survival... unless you are physically trained in combat, karate or self-defense, and you have assessed that you can overtake an individual with a weapon that you assume to be loaded. That's my take on it, anyway... not that I have had that situation happen to me.

Tomorrow is Halloween. Meaning after tomorrow, we can start the annual OS "Christmas? It's not even Thanksgiving yet!" debate that arises when someone(usually Mike) starts up the OS Christmas thread in early-mid November.

I'm surprised it hasn't already started...I mean Hallmark has been running Christmas movies all week.
